Stayed here for a week with Diverbo's Pueblo Ingles English language immersion program for Spaniards. What a lovely location and hotel/resort. We all stayed in the villas down the hill from the big hotel. Each villa has a single bedroom and bathroom upstairs, the lower floor h

We travelled to this hotel at easter 2018. We were located in the villas that are located around the castle were is located the hotel. The best point of this hotel it’s allow the pets to the guests that are located on the small house. The bad point is the quality of this house. W

Once again I stayed in the villas as a Pueblo Ingles volunteer. The location is fine for this. This time I stayed in number 20. This was fine because it was very quiet but with very poor wi-fi. As before, the food is good. This time I used the gym in the main hotel which is good.

if you want to disconnect from the real life, this could be your place. The hotel simulate like a medieval castle, very well decorated and in a privilege location. The best place to visit La Alberca village.

Did you like the diverbo program were you there as teens or adults?
I attended the adult program as an English speaking volunteer for the first time with Diverbo, but I have been volunteering with other companies in Spain and Poland for several years. The Diverbo program was great. Although is was quite a large group, about 48, half volunteers and half Spaniards, we all got acquainted quickly and the program was very well organized and coordinated. The usual programs typically have about 30 total. The program, the food, the venue and accommodations were great. The only thing I had a problem with was the length - 8 days, from Friday morning at 9:00am when we all got on a bus in Madrid, until 6:00pm the following Friday afternoon, we talked! I usually attend programs with a competitor company Vaughantown which runs from Sunday morning at 9:00 with the bus until Friday at 6:00 when we return to Madrid. That being said, give it a try. They're great folks at Diverbo, the staff communicates with volunteers promptly, and both the Spaniards and the Volunteers are very well educated and interesting folks to hang out with for a week. We all learn a lot from each other, and most importantly, the Spaniards greatly improve their English speaking and comprehension skills.

Hello, I saw "laundry service" listed. We are coming from the USA to Rome and then on to Madrid. By the time we get to the hotel we will need to wash some clothes. What facilities do you offer?
The hotel offers a full laundry service but there may be a two or three day wait for items to be returned. However, the staff are VERY helpful and if you asked for something to be laundered urgently, I am sure they would do their best to help.

"beware, some villa's have access by steep steps, if this is a problem, advise when booking"
"Ask for Villa 30 at the end of the block otherwise its like being in a housing estate."
"I can't imagine there is a bad room in this castle. Mine had a king size bed and a fireplace. The bathroom had a separate shower and tub."
"Be the heat/air conditioning is turned on."
"I stayed in Villa 2. I visited several villas and they were all similar with just a few slight variations. The views from my villa were excellent. My bathroom was slightly larger than the bathroom in my daughter's villa. Though I think every villa is a close walk to all the amenities Villa 2 was closest to the entrance onto the grounds; therefore, it was farther from the hotel, spa, pool, etc. That is better or worse based on your personal preference."
