We really enjoyed our one night stay at the fantastic hotel. Beautiful area, lovely garden - great atmosphere. Just a couple of points to assist in making it even better next time: 1) There was a glass container in our room that I think is supposed to hold sherry or something. There were only a couple of drops left at...

We had a lovely stay - the food was tasty, value for money and the staff attentive and friendly. Would have loved more amenities in the bedroom. Only 1 small sachet of shampoo and soap - far too little. The pillows were also all the same - a choice of two would be great in assisting peaceful sleep. Overall would...

Gracious Victorian hotel set in lovely large garden with an organic swimming pool complete with fishes and frogs! There is an indoor pool if one does not fancy swimming with the fish. The staff were very efficient and very friendly and the manager went out of his way to make a birthday dinner for my partner extra special by playing...

My husband and I spent our wedding weekend at the hotel and we couldn't have asked for more. The receptionist Ray-Jo was incredible at meeting our needs and going the extra mile. The rooms are beautiful with their old school charm. The gardens are just spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed the Eco-pool with the fish for company. A really lovely,...

The room was out of this world and the building and garden has such a nice old time feel about it. The staff was so friendly and the manager made sure that we are enjoying our stay. The breakfast so great. I was sorry that we did not booked 2 nights and not only 1 night

Firstly the staff was absolutely amazing! We checked in just before 1pm on the Saturday and left the Sunday at 11am. The food was delish and their freshly baked bread was oh so heavenly. Management and staff was always seen around attending to guests and I saw the same staff from the Saturday afternoon until the Sunday morning.Overall , we...

Lana. Yes the bread is wonderful, fresh & warm from the oven, sweet potato bread where the bread is actually not sweet at all but the sweet potato just a fragrant binding agent. Fig jam from locally sourced black figs (from the farmer R20 per kg), made in our kitchen.(we also sometimes mix this in a Glühwein type wine reduction...

My wife and I will definitely do back to the Riebeeck Valley Hotel. The country hospitality cannot be easily matched and I find this warmth so rewarding. Johan and his team, ably assisted by Ray-Jo truly know what service is. We have decided to add the Riebeeck Valley Hotel as an annual calendar item. The Riebeeck valley has such a...

Moosar. We had incredible growth in 2016 and I thought it was going even out. My surprise for 2017 that our occupation, functions and business dynamic growing exponentially to such an extend that we have to rethink our infra-structure all together. What we will NOT loose is our style of service being relaxed, easy-going & friendly. We sit well in...

I would come back for the bran muffins and fresh fruit at breakfast alone!! Lounging in the bath, it was very easy to pretend I was a grand old dame in the Victorian era and half expected a butler to come and serve me drinks. :) Overall a wonderful experience for a dear friends wedding.
