: -Excellent dinners on several nights .Breakfast service also first class. -Report problem with TV channel reception, report again two days later. I was not aware anyone looked at it despite statements at reception or any attempt to contact me to explain why/fixed/whatever. So left after 5 days with no TV channels but YouTube was ok -Split upholstery in restaurant -Some bar staff excellent, attentive to the room. Others take 10 mins to tear away from watching TV screen behind bar or from talking to customers sitting at bar whilst others waiting for service. It was good to see another bar assistant (who had been away service tables) deliver admonishment. Bar service process needs examining as takes ridiculous amount of time to serve even small groups e.g. 3. -I was given a room with disabled bathroom without any consultation. This proved disastrous as first shower left bathroom waterlogged until room serviced which might be next day. -No real currency in information. e.g. rooms had leaflets about keeping rooms aired and need to request services during Covid whilst Covid peak over and rooms were serviced anyway .Its seems leaflets were valid but not removed when times moved on. -Reminds of UK 20 years ago with smoking tables dedicated just outside main entrance so non-smokers suffer on entry and exit and then the wind blows the smoke to non-smoking tables anyway. So they were all moved to the side or rear years ago. -Reception and waiting staff generally excellent…
This is my third time bringing my 5 year old son here for a trip away. Absolutely every single member of staff are wonderful. Gemma and Dominik go above and beyond to ensure you have the perfect stay. The swimming pool is great, lovely and clean, safe flooring for little feet. The food is the kind of food you keep thinking about after. Our dinner last night was divine. Breakfast is fresh and ordered off menu. I already can’t wait to come back. Great location, lots of parking and great value.
We had a very enjoyable stay in Mcwilliam Park at Easter, the kids loved the pool and the breakfast. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Very friendly staff. The hotel is well located with loads of parking. Will visit again
Lovely hotel, clean rooms and very friendly staff. The only thing we found not so good was in the pool facilities there are no individual changing rooms so it was hard getting changed after swimming with two young children in one room with parents bringing their kids for swimming lessons. Thanks
