Nice combination of high service and Karelian nature. The hotel loved it. Service is high! The rooms are comfortable and everything is available. The staff are friendly and attentive, and there have been no problems. The hotel enjoys a picturesque and convenient location on the shores of Ladoga. Convenient - because the hotel quickly reaches various attractions of Karelia. The real pearl of the hotel for me was their restaurant! My highest regard for both the kitchen, menu and waiter work! Was pleasantly surprised. Some dishes are fantastic 👏👏👏👏 Recommend a visit! Even if you don't think about staying in it, at least visit the restaurant!

Excellent hotel! Beautiful territory, very tasty food in the restaurant (a find for gourmets), an interesting rope park, excellent spa, wonderful animator in the children's room, helpful and attentive staff, no mosquitoes (the territory is specially treated). The downside is the complete absence of sports in the hotel concept: no sports grounds, no gym. Obviously, hotel guests are often active people and therefore the lack of sports opportunities (except for the ropes course and table tennis table) is disappointing. It is also incomprehensible that there are no boats of our own for sailing on the lake.

Returned to this hotel again. The two-year break allowed us to look at the hotel in a new way. Yes, the hotel has added a nice spa area. Yes, the number of rooms is maintained in order. Yes, the restaurant keeps the bar. Almost keeps it... because once I was faced with the serving of a dish of dubious quality, and as an apology I heard an incomprehensible explanation, which only emphasized the absurdity of the situation with the quality of the product. The service in the restaurant is good, it is clear that the staff is trying, but there is still a long way to go to reach the top or at least high bar of service. By the way, the hotel staff has repeatedly emphasized that it has nothing to do with the restaurant: it is a separate legal entity. So their jambs are not the hotel’s jambs, and vice versa. Which is strange, since the restaurant is a kind of gastronomic calling card of the hotel, being located on its territory. Otherwise, the hotel is still weak in terms of service and comfort. Let's say, no one thought that the regular running of cargo transport around the hotel premises from 8 am interferes with a comfortable sleep. The loyalty program is selectively applied. It gets ridiculous: you have the right to a discount, but everything is “done” so that the guest cannot take advantage of it. There are still insufficient qualifications of the staff at the reception, maid services, lack of proper communication between departments, the list goes on. If I were a mystery shopper on behalf of the hotel owner, it would take a lot of time to describe the errors in the staff's work. Yes, the hotel is not bad, but judging by the actual state of affairs, we can conclude (at the moment) that there are no prospects for improvement. Two years is enough time to work on mistakes and reach a new level. Yes, the management will respond that they are trying their best. And yes, I'm pretty sure that's true. The question is different... either this is the general trend of the hotel, or the lack of a development plan and understanding of what and how to do for the future. For now it looks like drifting with the flow (the spa doesn’t count). The hotel is certified for 4 stars, for the most part corresponds to them, but, gentlemen, what does this have to do with the “premium” prefix, which you generously use in connection with your hotel?

I have long wanted to go to Karelia, and based on reviews I chose this hotel. Booked the rooms. More than a month before arrival, a business trip appeared for these dates, so I think I’ll cancel the reservation and immediately book for other dates. And then the quest began! It is not enough for a hotel to simply cancel a reservation. They force you to write an application on their form, scan it and send it. With all the details, etc. I'm in Thailand, not much shocked! What did it cost me to complete this quest, a new one appeared! They don't see the application in the mail)). In general, they do everything not to return the money. The place is very nice. The prices less nice. The quality of the food is not what you expect in a place like this. The worse part is that no one speak English and they have no menú cart in the restaurant in English !!!! Recommended to take a Russian bath

Pretty happy with our time at Dacha Wintera. Location is fantastic. Services were competitively good. I would say it is the best place to stay in the area (at the moment). Nice interiors and comfortable facilities. Unbelievably beautiful lake just in few foot steps. Great oportunity to rent a boat and do some fishing. Dont miss on fish dishes during the dinner, best combination of unforgettable taste and quite affordable price for it. Only thing our aircon was broken it was a disaster. Anyways nice. Very nice place.

Absolutely stanning and amazing place on the Ladoga lake, just breathtaking!Comfortable cottages, with spacious bedrooms and real sauna inside of the house! Best time ever! The surrounding is surreal, feels like you've stepped into a fairytale world. Worth every cent.

Dacha is newly refurbished and fresh enough with wood decorations. It has central building (reception) with usual hotel numbers and dozens of cottages around, also parking space, pierce, conference hall, restaurant and BBQ place too. Situated right next to Ladoga lake - beautiful landscape!!! The services were excellent, food - delicious and fresh. A lot of nature sightseeing - just hire a boat for 3-4 hours and you will never forget such wonderful inhabitant islands and lakes. No mosquitos by the way. the air was as fresh as possible. Not expensive - the hotel room was app $80 pn including breakfast. A cottage (for 2 families) was app $300 pn. The boat hire was app $70 for day trip and same for morning fishing. Isolated place; absolutely safe. the staff was very polite as everywhere in Sortavala region. would be happy to visit again with my family.
