For too many years to recall of driving onwards (as we headed north), or just travelling to Blair Atholl for eventing, we now realised we have missed out on this haven of succour. A comfortable stage from S England, or just a place to unwind and explore from this centrally-located base, we wish we had discovered KKH beforehand. The most...

Please don't fret - you have found us now and we expect you to be regular visitors from now on. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with the TripAdvisor readership - it means a lot these days when the traveller is so dependent on the internet to research their ideas. I have long threatened to have CCTV on the A9...

Superb service and exceptional food in a wonderful environment. The dinner menu changes every day and the quality remains at the highest level. Attention to detail is excellent and I'm in danger of running out of superlatives. This place is second to none.

Thank you, for being brief, complimentary, enthusiastic and appreciative! I will be equally so - we loved having you both here and really look forward to seeing you again soon! All good wishes from the entire team, Henrietta and the dog!

Having take a look at another nearby hotel room which we had prebooked, prepaid and rejected we called Killiecrankie and found a room at 8pm at night. Knackered having driven all day from London the owner's warm 'come on down' response on the phone was a breath of fresh air. She didn't ask for a credit card number, she trusted...

We were delighted to be able to offer shelter when you were in such dire straights, but thank you very much indeed for taking the time to review your experience. That owl has been very vocal recently, sometimes having a conversation with a friend in a neighbouring tree. You are right, I do enjoy my lovely little hotel and I...

We've just been staying at the Killiecrankie House Hotel for a big family reunion and it was simply the best. The bedrooms are really swish and comfortable; the food in the restaurant and bar is exceptional (blimey, these people know how to cook - venison, wild mushrooms, delicious scallops...yum yum yum..) and the staff, led by owner Henrietta are delightful...

You are too kind - it was so good having your family party here and I am delighted that the 'birthday girl' was surprised (or was an extremely good actress!) by the whole thing as it unfolded. The Pierre Sugrue champagne made with your own grapes was utterly delicious too! Thank you so much for taking the time to review...

This was our second visit to killiecrankie, having stayed 2 years ago and thank goodness it remains just as lovely and cosy as we had remembered it. Henrietta certainly knows how to manage a hotel that focusses on giving her guests the most relaxing holiday. Her staff are well trained and nothing is too much trouble. When we arrived, one...

Wow, thank you, I think you liked us! We really enjoyed having you with us and hope your complete enjoyment was not elevated by your experience the night before - but if that was the case I will take the comparison any time!! Our guide drove us to the hotel and Henrietta the owner came right out to the vehicle and welcomed us. She immediately made us feel comfortable and so at home in her lovely hotel. Our stay although too brief was wonderful and we didn't want to leave. The property is beyond lovely, impeccably maintained and located in Pitlochry which truly...

The hotel was excellent – the hospitality was first class with a good welcome from our attentive hostess, the room was most pleasant and the restaurant was very fine dining with well priced wines. The setting was idyllic, with impressive floral and kitchen garden and a good location for walking. We strongly recommend this hotel. Pitlochry is very close by...
