On reaching the gate the service given by the security guard was excellent and professional. Our temperatures were taken and our hands sanitized. The check in was a breeze and Brian and Carleta were so welcoming and warm. Every staff member on the grounds were friendly and helpful always asking if you are ok and if you needed anything. The facilities were ok. But the highlight of this trip was the food and service in the main dining area. Trecell was awesome from day 1 to 3 she took care of us (my mom, sister and friends). Jason and Susan were excellent too. They made us feel so welcome and served us exceptionally. (Big up Trecell, Susan and Jason). The drinks were so good, all the bartenders gave consistent service (I was hooked on the mudslide). Due to COVID 19 restrictions I can’t comment much on housekeeping but the rooms on entry were clean and comfortable. Mini bar was stocked and we had adequate towels, rags and toiletries. This is my second time at Melia and trust me it won’t be my last. The customer service 2 years ago is the same service now even better. Good job Melia Braco Team!!!!…

I am not ready to go home! This is my first time at a hotel before reading the Trip Advisor reviews. I'm not an easy person to please having been a resident staff at Sandals and Beaches over a span of 6 years. Before coming, all I knew about Melia Braco was that it was a "small property" but "nice". COVID vacation? I can understand why there has not been a single case of a tourism worker contracting Covid via work in Jamaica. From check in to dining room, the adherence to the safety measures (masks, sanitation, etc) are admirable. Pros! What makes a vacation for me is SERVICE. The staff are amazing. I felt welcomed and right at home... They went above and beyond. Judy kept offering to babysit but my kid (he's 2) is clingy. However she got to engage him in a game. She also sourced a float (I believe it is her personal float) after I lamented that I accidentally left my son's. This enganced his pool experience (his first time) and I'm sure made it more memorable for us both. Dining and Bar I found out after arriving that they had only reopened a week prior and due to the occupancy only the buffet, pool bar and main bar were opened. The grill was facilitated in the main dining area. The staff made up for all the hiccups. BIG UP JUDAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BIG UP YUH SELF! And all the dining room staff- you were all awesome. Judah though.... Pool, Beach and Activities. I cant believe I forgot the name of the playmaker that kept asking everyone if they were ok. Natural hair, busy bodied with a bouncy personality. The beach provided the peace, quiet and tranquility you'd want in a vacation and with adequate sand for the kids to play in. The Pool experience was enhanced by Judy (and mentioned before) and Oshane and Ojay from the bar. Special mention to all the Entertainment team- Marlon and the girls. Hiccups? No hot water, having to reprogramme my keys (3 times until the batteries in the door were changed) the phone in the room never worked- its annoying to have to walk all the way to the front desk to report issues. Maintenance was prompt re fixing the key issues and I do understand that after a long closure hiccups (especially with water heaters) may happen. Final words! I will be back Melia Braco! PS. Bring mosquito spray- its the tropics.…

Nice vacation so far. I must first say friendly staff ,especially Vinessa great service ,Big up Oshane,nice drink, Deno just to name a few,food great,nice pool, I had a fantastic time so far nice get away people look no further..Ashay had us entertained all day, good vibe.
