Great return fall visit. Quiet quaint and comfortable. I look forward to going back again next year. Clean and everything you need. Nice fireplace inside and fire pit outside. Eugenia falls nearby and good place to drive to and easy walk to falls.
Stayed in a cabin rental with two kids during July of 2020. Cleanliness was mediocre, lots of cobwebs and dust and even items under sofa. For a deep "covid clean", it didn't pass. We brought our own wipes, vacuum there didnt work well..Carpet old and outdated furniture. New owners! Still figuring out what works and what doesnt. Kids enjoyed the pool (had to remind owner to turn on the heating) and the canoe rides. Lake is man made so very shallow but also lots of tree stumps and other old habitat in the lake, not a lot of fish. Unfortunately, games room and playground closed. We drove out to do some hikes.. Kind of boring alone, best to go with friends, wouldnt necessarily go back, but kids still had fun. Each room has stand up fans and there are dvds in the rooms Kitchen has very little space, does come with dish soap. Cutlery minimal.…
This resort is absolutely amazing. The owners Natasa and Mark are so welcoming and have put so much time and effort into every detail. It is warm and welcoming and every cottage has a unique theme. Its location is perfect as it is close enough to Collingwood but far enough to have the calming and quiet time with nature. I love this place and will always come back!
We stayed in the ‘Squirrel Nest’, cabin # 7. A small but cheerful little place decorated in yellows and beige. Perfect for a couple with two children, quite cozy for four adults. Nice little indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. Has firm but comfortable beds. One of our group was disappointed that the canoes and paddle boats advertised as included had been put away. All essentials were supplied except salt, tin foil and plastic wrap. Lovely friendly owners.
This was the perfect place for our 3 generation family weekend. We rented 2 chalets on water for the 12 of us and our grandkids were constantly entertaining themselves going from swimming in the lake to swimming in the heated pool,to playing in the games room, to canoeing on the lake, roasting marshmallows and wieners in the fire pit and o yeah playing cards with us grandparents. No reason to be bored here.
