Visiting Black Rock Lodge was hands down the best part of my husband and I’s two week trip to Belize. Weeks later, we constantly talk to each other about how great our stay was and how we wish we could go back. From the beautiful property to Eddie’s adorable puppy, everything was perfect. Tours: We did the ATM tour and...

Based deep in the jungle, run by 2 South Africans, this economic lodge is a little gem. The staff are very knowledgeable and passionate about the environment and their surroundings. The staff couldn't do enough to help you. The rooms are cabins which are ample and comfortable. The food was delicious and of good quality. Communal dining and you are...

We really enjoyed our stay at Black Rock Lodge, the staff make you feel at home. We were a set of three families that stayed at the lodge about a week ago. This lodge is located about 40-45 minutes from the town on a very bumpy dirt road. Expect to pay U$ 40 extra to get to this lodge. Rooms:...

We stayed there for four nights earlier this year. Nice facility, super nice people, great food served everyday. Many bird species all around the lodge area. Plenty of opportunity to meet people from all over the place. But I do have to mention a few things they can improve. The shower water was barely warm. Because it was so damp...

Black Rock Lodge was a spectacular Cayo district setting! From airport pickup to departure, the staff were warm, courteous, professional & eager to please. The open air dining platform was incredible & healthy/gourmet meals made this a jungle paradise. During our stay, we ventured off-site for the Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) cave tour...an adventure we will cherish forever. We also...

We spent the first half of our honeymoon at Black Rock Lodge. It completely exceeded our expectations! The property is absolutely gorgeous - the most beautiful views imaginable. We did two hikes from the property, the ATM cave tour, river tubing and mayan ruins tour. They were all amazing and the guides were extremely knowledgeable. The meals at Black Rock...

My travel buddy and I stayed at the Black Rock Lodge for two days (not long enough) and had a fantastic time. The lodge hosts onsite tours of the jungle, property and surrounding sites. We took the staff up on a night walk and saw tarantulas, frogs and other critters that were very cool. The next day we hiked up...

My husband and I stayed at Black Rock four nights during the second week of October. Black Rock was the first stop on our honeymoon and we were quite impressed! We were upgraded to a river front suite and even though we did not need the extra space, we loved falling asleep to the sounds of the river and jungle!...

We stayed for a week at Black Rock Lodge in February. The hospitality of the Black Rock team was wonderful They have a team of 7 guides that lead amazing trips you can choose -- down the Macal river by canoe or raft, into the rain forest for birding, into caves used in Mayan rituals, to Mayan ruins like Tikal...
