The Bukit Pool Suites situated on a hillside on Gilli Gede is a perfect spot in paradise. The 180 degree view from a second story rooftop infinity pool is what dreams are made of. I spent many hours taking in the speculator views of surrounding islands, ocean and volcano and plan to spend many more. The suite is fully air conditioned with added fans perfect to escape the hot Indonesian midday sun. The friendly staff were unparalleled in service organising some of the best diving and fishing charters I’ve been on. the phenomenal meal and beverage at the Ko-Ko-Mo resort topped off a trip to remember! Thanks Gili Gede and Bukit pool suits! Highly recommended and will be back again soon!
Arriving on Gili Gede, we were immediately greeted by smiling staff, who kindly brought our baggage straight to our suites. We then sat down at kokomo restaurant which is next door, right by the beach, and enjoyed a cold refreshing beer accompanied by some delicious food. The suites are beautifully designed and the view from the balcony is absolutely amazing! The Island itself is a natural masterpiece and i would highly recommend going scuba diving, it was an incredible experience, I just wish i had more time to explore!
Bukit pool suites is the perfect getaway from Indonesia’s somewhat organised chaos! The suites are immaculate and as a builder myself the detail to the finishes were superb! The marble floors and bathrooms! Balcony outlooking the sea! The top level area dedicated to an infinity pool and the general configuration of the room creates an open feeling that leaves you feeling fresh and rejuvenated! The management were happy to guide with any questions about food and activities and even provided us with a hard drive filled with movies to watch so we could just sit back and relax! Highly recommend and will be back!
We (family of 4 with 2 teenage girls) arrived on Gili Gede intending to stay elsewhere so our decision to stay in the 2 bedroom Bukit Pool suite was last minute and unplanned. Boy were we glad we ended up changing accommodation as we had simply the best time imaginable. The 2 bed suites consist of a large bedroom with ensuite (enormous), kitchen and living area plus a pool and lounging area. There is no hand rail on the stairs so it's probably not for really little kids or anyone unsteady on their feet. The pool is the perfect size and we had lots of lovely time in there together. Aircon is excellent, and there are celing fans as well; linen and towels are luxurious, kitchen is well appointed, sofa super comfy, board games a thoughful addition, and housekeeping very good (the suites are serviced daily). There are about a million powerpoints, which is also great. Note that the wifi is hampered by a series of relays and interrupted by storms. It's really patchy. If you need internet try and organise a SIM card for your mobile. If not, enjoy disconnecting in paradise! There was building going on across the path from our suite, but we were never disturbed by it. The call to prayer of the Mu'azzin were a beautiful soundtrack as we enjoyed swims and gazing off into the distance at Agung and Rinjani. The service we received was peerless. Nothing we could ask would be too much trouble. We ate all meals except one at kokomo resort restaurant. I don't have words to describe how good it was. Breakfast and dinner were so good and such generous servings that we went without lunch every day! There are new paths going in that connect the different parts of the Island which make it easy to walk from one part to the other, which means visiting the other small accoms. and their restaurants is relatively easy. We would normally enjoy exploring the Island, adventuring and supporting the other restaurants - maybe returning to a favourite once or twice. We ate one meal at the local warung (Warung Gili Gede) which was fine and is run by a lovely, friendly and enterprising your woman, Reni. But the food and service at Kokomo's restaurant was just so exceptional that we quickly gave up on our usual explorations and indulged. We have travelled extensively for work and pleasure and we have never done this before. We. Just. Could. Not. Resist! In the spirit of sharing the love (and tourist $), we did use a local guide for our snorkelling trips, spending 1 day underwater nearby at Gili Ringgit and Gili Layar and 1 day on a trip further afield to Gili Nanggu. Both different, both excellent. We have eaten at the restaurant at Gili Layar on a previous trip to Gili Gede and didn't feel like doing that again so on both occasions we just ate a big breakfast and took a few snacks and lots of water. We left at 9 and were back by about 1-2 each day. We used Eka Gili Trip with Eka and his captain cousin, Rozi. They are both absolutely lovely, gentle, men with good english and fantastic service. We like camping, we have stayed in plenty of bamboo huts on the beach, we often eat street food in Indo, we like to explore on scooters... it's fair to say we like to rough it and get close to nature and the local culture (as much as possible for a westerner anyway). We don't normally enjoy the sterility (we feel) of classy resorts and high end restaurants, but Bukit pool suites and Kokomo restaurant may have spoiled us for life!…
We stayed at these newly built suites up on a hill on Gili Gede looking straight over the water out to mt rinjani Marble floors and marble bathrooms , beautifully decorated with a stunning infinity pool on the top floor Ate our meals at the stunning Kokomo which is only 5 minutes away We will return Carissa , Sydney,Australia
Considering you are on an very Remote Island this is pure Luxury. The Owners didn't hold back to use only fine Materials from a to z. Spacious rooms with AC,full equipped kitchen,an huge fridge with water and icecrusher, private pool and cameraguarded house entrance.,electronics like huge TV, PlayStation, pioneer speaker systems..etc.pp,even the wifi was quiet good and stable(till the first heavy rain😜😜) Living ourselves in Indonesia we are well aware of the problems to maintain an property like this and we won't complain about the few things who could be done slightly better.(waterpressure of the bum gun for example) We've been fully satisfied with the friendly staffcrew, the manager, the food in the restaurant, the cleanliness, and the place in general,so we extended one more night as we got an amazing low Season Deal. As Travelagents with 4 offices in Bali we are looking forward to recommend this Place to many of our interested Customers and we hope we can spend our next getaway again here on the Property. Thank you for an amazing Time on Gili Gede. We wish you all the best.…
We were greeted directly from the Gili Getaway boat by the property manager who took our bags and were taken directly by golf buggy to our suite, Amazing views of the ocean from both floors of the property. I think everything is brand new. Its super private yet only two minutes to the beach, Many activities are available to book through the staff such as Snorkeling, fishing, Canoeing, Tennis or you can just Chill and take in the relaxed vibes of the island.
Amazing stay in Gili Gede, 2 minutes walking from the beach and very nice restaurants. House is very well furnished and cozy as well. You'll find here peace and stunning environment ! I recommend it 100% !
I just spent 2 nights at these pool suites , stunning water views , high class finishes , great bedroom and living area downstairs with a plunge pool and outdoor area on the roof , I ate at the next door restaurant called Kokomo which was divine . This is the best value for money in Indonesia . They even dropped me to my accomodation in a golf cart . Best way to get there is the gili getaway Fastboat , took 2 hours from Bali and drops you very close . I’ll be back next month , thanks Bukit pool suites and the manager Darba
Great new resort next to Kokomo, with the best views and the best sunrise in Gili Gede. Plunge pool on the roof top adds to an awesome experience, and the food down in Kokomo is amazing. Great staff, great location, highly recommend the Bukit Pool Suites, and we'll definitely be back.
