My husband and I got married at Two Seasons Coron Island Resort and Spa last October 28, 2018.

We reserved the chapel and some rooms last February 2018. During the preparations, Maricris quickly responds to questions or check with management regarding our requests and give timely update. They were able to grant most of our requests and in cases that the requests were not granted, they were able to give sound explanations and offer sound alternatives. The place is costly but excellent customer service and beauty of the island made the whole wedding experience worth it. Inclusions were cake, surprise to wedding couple, complimentary massage for the couple and accommodation to their finest villas for around 20 people. The food was excellent. Compliments to the chef. We did not hire an event stylist. The team were able to copy our pegs for the cake, basic styling in the church, table set-up and reception set-up. Will definitely recommend Two Seasons Island Resort and Spa to couples who want to have a destination wedding.

Areas that could be improved - less costly accommodation for the crew and fixed amount of corkage for unlimited alcohol and wifi service

Our stay at the Two Seasons Coron Island Resort & Spa was nice - the room that we stayed in was very nice (beautiful sunset view).

We were greeted at the airport with very nice staff members and was transported (via van) to take a speedboat to the resort (about a 45 minute boat ride) - let's just say it was a trip on its own :)

However, the resort lost Wi-Fi connectivity and cell/data connectivity for a length of time each day during our stay. (at one point, we were told that it would take three days to get connection again).

We spent one day on an excursion with a tour guide from the resort, which was the highlight of our stay at Two Seasons. We were able to visit Kayangan Lake, Barracuda Lake, Twin Lagoon, Skeleton Wreck, etc.

Overall, our stay at Two Seasons was average.

We had a lovely time at Two Seasons! It was raining hard when we arrived, and the staff made sure we were alright, and they got us to the island safely.

Our island tip room was stunning! The private jacuzzi overlooking the sea was a nice touch. We also appreciated the complimentary mini bar which was restocked daily.

The best part of our trip was our private island tour and the romantic dinner prepared by Two Seasons. The dinner was supposed to be set up by the beach, but because of the weather, we stayed indoors. Nevertheless, the 5-course meal we had was amazing! The steak and salmon were cooked perfectly! Cheers to the chef!

What completed our amazing stay here were the warm welcome and great hospitality of the staff! Our tour guide, boatman, servers and staff were all super nice and very accommodating. Thank you, Two Seasons, for a very memorable vacation.

We stayed in the beach villa for our first night and then spent 5 nights in the sand tip bungalow. Not impressed - both pools were not operational and had to get new motors to fix the jacuzzi. The water temperature in the jacuzzi was heated to 40 degrees and I burnt my foot stepping into it. We had 2 replacement fridges in 48 hours, neither of which worked so all our beverages in the room were not cold. Service very slow and food was dismal. There was a poor selection from the menu and can only recommend fish dishes. When we saw the video promoting the resort the food was rated exceptional fine dining, however it was like eating from a canteen self service. Drones from nearby island continually invade your privacy if you stay in the sand tip villa, very noisy and no privacy from passing tourists. All water activities are charged and only SUP and canoe offered at no charge. It took 48 hours to travel from South Africa and were deeply disappointed. Resort over priced and not worth the money - we paid full board for 5 days in the sand tip villa and on arrival were told only 3 meals complimentary and had to pay for all other meals and drinks excluding breakfast complimentary coffe was restricted to 3 x nespresso capsules per day - when we asked for more we were told no. . Manager was never present and nowhere to be seen, only appeared when we asked to see him. Don't waste your time going there if you want service or fine dining.

I was here late October for a friend's wedding.

They resort will pick you up from the airport. We were picked up in an airconditioned coaster. A cold towel and a bottle of water was provided for each guest. It can get pretty warm since the airport arrival area is not airconditioned so I was happy to be greeted with a cold face towel and bottled water. The land trip from the airport to their bayside hotel took about 40 minutes. Two seasons bayside hotel has their own dock, this is where we transferred to a speed boat. The boat ride to the island was another 40 minutes.

The speed boats were nice and clean. Lifevests and towels are provided upon boarding the boat.

We stayed in a hilltop bungalow. Four complimentary bottles of water are provided daily as well a bowl of fruits. The room was spacious and could comfortably accommodate a family of four. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Bathrobes were thick and soft which I really liked. Toiletries such hand soap, toothbrush, toothepaste, bath gel, shampoo, lotion, shaving kit, cotton pads and cotton buds are provided. No hair conditioner though. I have long hair, after a day out at the beach I really needed hair conditioner... I didnt ask if they could provide it though so they might have it if you ask.

Buffet breakfast was included. They have a fair selection of western and local fare. Their bacon is yummy. A la carte menu is available for lunch and dinner. Their cheese pizza is worth mentioning, I would order it again. Since I was there for a wedding, we had a buffet dinner both evenings (welcome dinner and reception). The variety and quality food was very good.

A lot of activities can be arranged from the island such as scuba diving and island hopping. You can use the kayaks, the glass bottom paddle boats, and go stand up paddle boarding for free. It's worth mentioning that island hopping activities can be arranged in coron town for much less. You might want to consider this if you will be spending a few days in town as well. I didnt have time to enjoy their spa and get a massage but I was told it was really good.

The staff is attentive, courteous, friendly, and very accommodating. Except on our last day, they appeared very distracted and service was not up to par. They were preparing for another event - the birthday party of the resort owner's daughter. Also, they misplaced our personalized champagne glasses which we had left in our room after pictorials. I informed the front desk about this the same afternoon we discovered them missing but didnt get any feedback from them. I had to follow it up several times that same evening until the next morning which was the morning we were checking out. Apart from this I was very satisfied with their service and the staff remained courteous all through out.

I had a very good time and would stay here again.
Thank sandyislandgirl
