We needed a vacation from our vacation and found it at Sawasdee. The resort is on the west side of the island at the south end of the main beach. We took the fast boat from Ranong which stops at Ko Pynam first. Then about 120 baht each for a motorcycle taxi to the resort. What a ride! Everyone we...

I have just stayed at "Sawasdee Resort" for the fourth time in four years and it has been my best visit so far. I simply cannot praise this sensational small resort enough. Nui, the amazing cook and Fon, his charming wife, run a very special small establishment. Their small staff are a complete joy and their attention to detail is...

Bungalows super clean and comfortable. Location on beach very nice with manicured landscaping. Service was faultless. The food was unbelievable! This is a very professionally resort business. Koh Chang Noi is very quiet and laid back so if you want nightlife etc go to Koh Phayam. We will be back

The difference between Sawasdsee and the other resorts on Koh Chang is readily apparent on arrival. The beachfront is kept neat and tidy with beautifully maintained gardens providing many places to sit and relax. The accommodation ,while simple, was clean and comfortable with great space in the villa to put your belongings. The bed has a huge mosquito net which...

We arrived here for our second night at Ko Chang after discovering the Resort the day before during a walk. The owners were really friendly showing us all different huts - we chose one of the more expensive ones, but the price of 800 TBH was totally wort it: everything new and clean (and pink :-) ). Power for only...

When I initially booked via email as a single female the resort told me that they wouldn't have a bungalow as they were keeping them for 2 people. I understand that 2 people staying and eating in the restaurant would make them more money so I offered to pay more. I wasn't charged more but I find this a strange...

I have just spent five idyllic nights in one of Husband and wife team, Nui and Fon's spotless beach front bungalow's at their pristine "Sawasdee Resort" at the southern end of the 3km long beach on the west side of peaceful Ko Chang. I stayed there for five nights the same time of year in early 2015 and I could...

We stayed two nights with the lovely people of Sawasdee. Great bungalows and amazing food. You just have to go there once! The only sound you hear is from the animals from the jungle, the sea and the boats bringing new people en food and drinks. Great experience!

We paid 350B for a bungalow with private bath. It was a bit hot inside bc there wasn't much of a breeze when we were there, so we hung out in our hammock a lot on the porch. Bed was nice, and the food was very good. Ate mostly at the resort, but tried a few other places too. Only...

Love to eat? Great food? You won't be disappointed at Resort Sawasdee. Chef Nui is the best - trust me - I've been there several times over several years and you won't be disappointed. Fon and Nui provide a wonderful experience in Koh Chang - always fresh and bright - so welcoming. If you seek a respite but don't want...
