Less than 10 kms from Amsterdam's city limit and within easy reach (20-30 kms) from the "cheese villages" of North Holland, a nice house in a beatiful countryside village and a farm area in the background. The guest rooms are on the upper floor and one of them has a big terrace opening onto the farmlands. There is a small kitchen in the common area. The owners are extremely kind and provide a superb breakfast in the garden. The only drawback is the typical farm smell (if you don't like that) and, as there is no air condition in the guest room, it can be quite warm in the room on a hot summer day.

De locatie is super: vrijstaande woning/B&B met westelijk een geweldig uitzicht over de tuin en het aangrenzende ilperveld. Ten oosten van Villa Waterland is recreatiegebied Het Twiske lopend te bereiken. Eigen parkeerplaats. Het B&B zelf is heel schoon, netjes en comfortabel. De ramen zijn voorzien van horren (in de tuinkamer ook de openslaande deuren). De gordijnen sluiten goed af en je hoort ook niks want het is heel landelijk en rustig. Niet alleen koffie- en thee faciliteiten op de kamer maar op de gang is een pantry met koelkast, magnetron en keukengerei. Het ontbijt is ruim voldoende met elke dag een ei, verse jus d'orange, wat fruit en yoghurt (vanzelfsprekend ook koffie, thee, broodjes, boter en beleg). In de ontbijtruimte kun je ook op andere momenten zitten. Daar liggen ook spelletjes, boeken en informatiemateriaal over de omgeving. Aardige, behulpzame gastvrouw en -heer. Wij zijn van plan om in het voorjaar of de zomer terug te komen want wij vinden het een aanrader! Bij de prijs/kwaliteit geef ik een 9 i.p.v. een 10; niet omdat ik het geen 10 waard vind (want dat vind ik eigenlijk wel) maar ik denk dat je in de buurt van Amsterdam altijd meer betaalt dan bijvoorbeeld in Drenthe.

Abbiamo soggiornato qui per 5 giorni e siamo stati benissimo.Il b&b è molto bello pulito e ordinato. La propietaria puliva il bagno spesso e cambiava gli asciugamani. La colazione fantastica, uova succo di arancia fatto in casa, affettati, formaggi, yogurth, marmellata, burro, mix frutta, latte e caffè. A me intollerante al glutine la propietaria avvertita per tempo ha fatto trovare alimenti senza glutine, il pane di mattina era caldo. Poi c'è la possibilità di affittare le biciclette per un giro molto carino nelle vicinanze. Il prezzo ragionevole visto tutto ciò sui 40 euro o giù di lì a persona. Dalla camera con balcone si ha una bella vista sulla campagna olandese. Poi c'è un frigo con coca cola aranciata birra e vino bianco, a noi è capitato uno chardonnay fantastico. Inoltre nelle camere ulteriore bottiglietta di vino macchina per espresso, e vari tè. Per quanto riguarda Amsterdam noi avevamo la macchina affittata, ma a pochi chilometri c'è un park and ride, il meccanismo è questo: parcheggi a un euro tutto il giorno se vai con il tram. Il biglietto costa 4 euro. Dovrete stare attenti sempre a obliterate salita e discesa dal mezzo che prendete altrimenti pagherete l'intera tariffa del parcheggio ma su questo e sugli orari vi consiglio di prepararvi bene noi lo abbiamo uSato e abbiamo risparmiato tanto. Ricordatevi si paga tramite carta di credito il parcheggio e i biglietti o tramite altre carte niente contanti. Se volessi trovare un difetto a villa waterland? Un po di puzza di letame visto che probabilmente ci sono animali tipo cavalli e mucche vicino, ma è l'unico difetto. Perciò popolo di tripadvisor non perdete questo bel posto dell'olanda. Se non parlate olandese niente paura tutti parlano inglese se lo conoscete non avrete problemi. Buona permanenza a voi popolo di tripadvisor.

Geweldige B&B met persoonlijke verwelkoming. Zeer proper en leuke inrichting, alle voorzieningen en super bed ! Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw . Lekker geslapen en daarna een lekker ontbijt . Zeker een adres om terug te keren ......

In het mooie Noord Holland bevindt zich deze Bed & Breakfast in Den Ilp. Fijne persoonlijke ontvangst, een heerlijke kamer en een fantastisch ontbijt met een vriendelijke gastvrouw. Zij moet nog in haar rol groeien maar dat gaat vast goedkomen! Aanrader pur sang!
