We had a lovely two night stay at La Omaja. The infinity pool and restaurant area with views over Lake Nicaragua and Concepcion are incredible and we spent a whole afternoon relaxing in the hammocks on the terrace and swimming in the pool. Sunsets from...More
We arrived here pretty hot and tired after the long(ish) trip from the ferry and boy was it a sight for sore eyes! The infinity pool overlooking the lake, with the volcano to the right is simply breathtaking - especially as it faces west so...More

Stay was great, rooms were nice and clean, and the view is spectacular. During our stay Byron who works at the hotel also took us up Maderas. He was a great tour guide! Really good value for the price.

We paid $30 for the taxi ride (to and from) Ojo de Agua and paid the entrance fee in cordobas separately when we got there (approx $3 per person). We spent approx 3 hours there swimming , had lunch and our driver was waiting to take us back. On the way back we had also arranged for him to stop at Playa Santo Domingo ...again we spend 2-3 hours at the beach and he was waiting to take us back to the hotel. Very flexible and hotel will go out of their way to help! Most of the activity prices ranged from $30-50 usd.
