Such an amazing stay in such an idyllic spot. This is a beautiful hotel, with an amazing pub restaurant with delicious food. Cannot thank you all enough, it was a wonderful stay and the staff really made it! Many thanks to you all :)
We stayed in the Barn suite which was beyond beautiful. Amenities were plenty and everywhere from the bed to the sofa and chairs was so comfortable. We had a wood burner that we could use and made good use of the room service which is so efficient. Ate several times in the lovely Masons Arms which serves elevated pub grub with top service. Loved everything about our stay and would def return.
Trendy hotel in Oxfordshire with a good bar/Resturant. Spacious room with a nice outdoor setting. Service and staff was great. Would recommend having a car to check out things around the area including Blenheim palace.
Absolutely lovely place, quirky, friendliest staff, food is superb and rooms are to die for. We came to do a job and decided to stay in the process, I can’t thank Fiona and her staff enough for making us so welcome and making the stay a true delight.
We had a wonderful stay in the stable room, looking out over fields. The bed was huge & comfy, and we had a huge bath in the room & one of the best showers ever. Delicious coffee from the coffee machine (not instant coffee - better than that!), lots of interesting art & reclaimed furniture. Having a DAB radio is also a very welcome touch. The room was easy to get warm (so we could use the bath) but also cool enough to sleep at night. The basket of goodies in the cupboard was extremely tempting and (unfortunately) the food in that is much better than what is served in the pub next door :-( But I cannot fault the room and would happily return for another special treat. If I had one comment which might be useful for others to know it is that the artist residence is directly under a flight path, with low flying planes making quite a bit of noise. However, these stopped around 11pm and didn't start early, so in the end we weren't bothered by them at all. But if we'd needed an early night and/or it had been summer, that could have been an issue. The Bramley toiletries are a delight to use by the way! Service was good although it was a slight challenge to find out where in the pub we were supposed to check in. Fresh milk is provided, though not a huge amount & we did have to ask for more (being both tea & coffee drinkers). Overall though the experience of staying in this beautiful but homely room cannot be beaten. A real treat.…
