the location of this property is very charming... but getting there is very inconvenient. we drove from mumbai and the road condition of the last 7 kms leading up from main road to the resort was in such a horrible shape, that it took as nearly half hour at 10-15 km per hour and incredible amount of potholes etc. having...

Monsoons would be the best time to visit this property. Spacious cottages with fabulous view. All cottages have a private balcony. Bathroom was huge overlooking the forest. It's difficult to get to the property and service needs an improvement.

Had a great time,. The Best part is the Meditation centre. It is so serene. The staff and food quality is excellent. It's a great experience. I recommend one must visit this place amidst forests atleast once and experience the natural beauty.

We chose Hilton Shillim since Machan was unavailable and we needed just a day's stay. Our aim was a nice quiet place with good food. Shillim appeared apt for the requirements. It was a wonderful stay for 1 night....Would have loved to stay more if time permitted....Was given a complimentary upgrade to Forest Villa since I had booked for my 10 the anniversary...Overall decent experience...A bit too on the expensive side...
