Have just returned from a week in Viewfield cottage celebrating my 70th birthday. 14 other family members joined us for the weekend so we had Farriers View cottage too. What a great place. Perfect for what we needed. Viewfield stands alone overlooking the duck ponds and across to the Cheviot Hills. Amazing sight. There are so many beautiful places to...

A long weekend for 5 at Wool Cottage. We arrived late and were helped by Crissy and Anthony when we missed our turn in the dark. Thanks. We were provided wine and a fab cake. The cottage was spotless and cosy, with log fire, washing machine, dishwasher and 1 large family bathroom. We used the pool, hot tub and sauna...

Another great week at Village Farm. Warm luxurious chalet, great facilities for quality family time - games room, pool, beaches and castles. Must be our 17th or 18th visit maybe? I think that says it all.

We have just returned from a nostalgic trip to Townfoot Cottage which we first stayed in 22 years ago. Since that time we have stayed in almost every property of village farm cottages with our two children as they grew up. Needless to say we are fans - and so are our children. Every cottage/house/lodge we have stayed in has...

I visited Viewfield Cottage, Village Farm with family and friends (9 in total incl kids) for a New Year holiday. We had high expectations from the website and photos but we were honestly blown away when we arrived. Not only was the cottage gorgeous and well equipped but it was also extremely spacious, luxurious and had lots of unexpected extras....

What a fantastic property for such an occasion, we felt at home immediately we walked through the door, very clean and tidy and ideally suited to our requirements. The proximity to the east coast main railway line...

After some initial difficulties finding Viewfield which is a little further out than Village Farm Spa we enjoyed our stay there. The Cottage was clean and fresh. Facilities were good and in a beautiful setting. All staff that we spoke to were very friendly and helpful - especially the man from the Spa who went driving round to find our...

Our family stayed at Wool Cottage for a week. The cottage itself was lovely and cosy and had everything we needed for a great stay! The cottage is only a few minutes walk from all the Village Farm amenities (pool, spa, games room, etc) so we used them regularly. There are plenty things to do within easy reach from the...

We had a lovely time once again in Sally's flat. We stayed for two weeks.we never tire of this wonderful coast line. We also went to Edinburgh on the train and visited royal yacht Britannia. Well worth a visit and would go again. From sallys flat you see the stables. So if you like horses you will love it. Maybe...

Visited the beautiful Northumberland coast in August, but only a few days after my wife had broken her ankle. The owners were really helpful in offering us use of a wheelchair & shower seat to cater for my wife's immobility. The Health Club manager also went out of his way to take delivery of an on-line food shop we had...
