The Muyuna Amazon Lodge is really in the middle of wilderness which allows to see much of wildlife, like we observed eight species of monkeys. That includes Noisy Night Monkeys whose presence is proof that there is no malaria in this location, because malaria would kill them. Also over 150 species of birds in 48 hours was a good result,...

Better than I expected! Had a great guide named Julio who was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the jungle. He loved what he was doing and I appreciated all the info. Meals and my room were great for the price. Enjoyed meeting people from all over the world. Highly recommend the lodge to anyone who loves nature....

Your SEARCH IS OVER. If you are sifting through pages and pages of lodges in the Amazon, look no further. Muyuna gives you an authentic and unique Amazon experience. Located a 3-4 hour boat ride through the Amazon, you're far away enough from civilization to know you're getting the real deal. All the staff is super friendly, helpful and go...

Admittedly this is a late review but I can't say enough positive things about this lodge! They really make your experience in the Amazon once in a lifetime. I would recommend this to anyone. Keep in mind you are three hours down the Amazon with no phone service and limited capabilities but the lodge truly makes every amenity and comfort...

MUYUNA JUNGLE LODGE Three hours boat ride up the Amazon from Iquitos, Peru, and on the Yanayaca River, a tributary of the Amazon and within 15 miles of its source. Terrific experience! But if your idea of Amazon experience is Four- or five-star luxury, stay away. This is the Amazon lodge designed to give you the real rain forest -...

This is one of the best stays I had overseas. This is a deal that you are taken from the airport to the Iquitos office to organize yourself and from there to the boat that after 3 hours gets you to the lodge. The lodge is very beautiful convenient and functional. You get a lovely room where you feel you...

Me and my boyfriend stayed here this past month and really enjoyed our time. All the excursions were great and the guides are extremely knowledgeable. Also, as a vegetarian, the kitchen staff were incredibly accommodating in serving me special meals. We highly recommend muyuna!

My husband and I stayed at Muyuna Lodge in November 2016. We stayed for 4days/3nights. The lodge highly exceeded my expectations. From the moment we landed in Iquitos, the staff at Muyuna lodge greeted us at the airport and offered a free transfer to our hotel for the night. They were right on time and picked us up the following...

Muyuna was the highlight of my 6-week trip to South-America. Stayed there for 6 days. My dream was to visit Amazon rainforest and my dream has now come true. Muyuna is probably the best place to see Amazon rainforest wildlife. Due to a location on the shore of a small river away from Amazon rivertraffic, it is a very relaxing...

We went for 4days/3nights. The staff constantly worried to make us feel welcome and ask if there is anything we needed. During boat rides if anybody was feeling sick or unwell their priority was to bring them to the lodge asap so they can feel better (most activities are boat rides). They have a way to communicate with offices if...
