We have been lucky enough to stay at Old Bewick Farmhouse several times now. Our first stay was just after Catherine and Barry had opened after extensive renovations of this beautiful house. We have also stayed in all the rooms over the last four years, and have never been disappointed. You couldn't ask for a more friendly welcome, in fact... More

We stayed here for a wedding near by and it was lovely! Our room (suite) was fabulous with a great lounge area, and our friends stayed in the other double room which was furnished so beautifully. Catherine and Barry served up the most wonderful breakfast the following morning and we could choose exactly what we wanted, including a huge bowl... More

My wife and I and teenage son, aged 15, stayed in the family suite and we thought it was a very comfy bed in the double room and our son had the twin all to himself. My wife relaxed with a glass of wine in the bath while my son and I checked out sky tv in the lounge. The decor of... More

We were privileged to stay in this superb B&B for 3 nights -8-11 July. On arrival we were greeted by Catherine who was so welcoming and friendly. She couldn't do enough for us and had even provided a big bag of lego and board games for the children. The suite we had was amazing- so spacious and clean. What a... More

As soon as you walk through the door of the Old Bewick Farmhouse you can't help but admire the beauty of this old Georgian house which the current owners have restored to a very high standard. The owners currently have a family suite (comprising of a sitting room, double room for the parents; a twin room for children and an... More

We stayed three nights at Old Bewick in late June. In our tour across Britain this was by far the nicest family accommodations we found, and not as expensive as other places. Luxurious (separate) bedrooms for the parents and kids; very comfortable sitting room with sky tv; large, modern (and well-stocked) bathroom. The house itself shows the results of an... More

Myself and my partner have recently stayed at Old Bewick Farmhouse and received one of the warmest welcomes I've ever experienced. We both felt very much at home here and would definately recommend this as a place to stay. The breakfasts were excellent and all made with local ingredients - definately a great start to a solid day sightseeing in... More

My wife and I stayed at Old Bewick Farmhouse for two nights after staying at a 4 star Silver Award B&B in Warkworth. In Warkworth we had experienced warm hospitality, together with luxurious, comfortable accommodation. To say we felt a big let-down at Old Bewick Farmhouse is an understatement. The house was not at all homely and certainly not the... More

We were very disappointed to read this review and learn of an unhappy experience at Old Bewick Farmhouse. We have a guest book full of positive comments from previous clients and are disappointed that any complaints weren't brought to our immediate attention during breakfast on either morning as they would have been dealt with straight away. Our breakfasts are served... More
