Great weekend break,warm friendly staff.Great food,good choice on menu.Comfortable rooms,all looked recently decorated,so clean and fresh.Great ,peaceful location.Well placed for visiting Hexham,Chesters,Halsteads,and other Roman remains.Had brilliant weekend away with old friends.

Can not fault the Sunday lunch. Very generous serving, 3 large cuts of beef and very good selection of roasted and fresh veg comes with 2 Yorkshire puddings and an extra pot of gravy all for £8.95!
