We were in Goa for 5 nights, in the middle of August. As far as we knew, there are two hotels open during off-season: the Dunhill and Maria Paulo. Dunhill couldnt host us straight away, so we stayed at Maria Paulo for one night.

Have stayed at Mario Paulo twice, run by Hendrik and his wife, would highly recommend staying there. It's not the cheapest but I do think it's worth it, particularly if you are knackered after a ten-hour flight from Europe and want some home style comforts....More
