Charming place, secure parking, clean, quaint and comfortable rooms + a hostess who's genuinely happy to have you as her guests. Very good location in La Morra with walking distance to all you need. La Morra is also a good base for visiting the rest of Piemonte. Breakfast is fantastic with only homemade or local products. We are happy to...

Fior di Farine is a lovely guesthouse in the town, attached to a flour mill. It has no views but the rooms open up onto a pretty courtyard/balcony. There is good onsite parking (bonus) as Fior di Farine is right in the town of La Morra. We found its location to be great. The rooms are spacious and perfectly clean...

The rooms are quite quaint and comfortable. The breakfast is unbelievable...even given European standards. It is central to the wine area and provided a great base for local vineyard hiking. We highly recommend

Unfortunately I only was able to stay one night with Margherita. What a delightful person! So welcoming, so helpful. My room was comfy, well appointed, but the walls are paper thin which is why I didn't give it a 5 rating. I'm quite sensitive to noise from adjacent rooms. The breakfast room and common sitting room are very cozy. Lots...

We spent 3 nights at Fior di Farine during our honeymoon in October. It's a great location in the small town of la Morra (the town center is just a few minute walk up the hill). The room was nice and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was very large. Everything was quite clean. The breakfast each morning was amazing and...

Great B and B within walking distance to all things La Morra. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great! We drank wine in the rain on the terrace and enjoyed it immensely. The following morning we walked out the gate, turned left, then right to join the hiking path through the magnificent vineyards. The...

Well situated B and B in La Morra within walking distance of the centre. Exceptional friendly welcome and service. The owner, Margherita, is a very friendly woman. Excellent breakfast prepared on the basis of the bio flour produced by the century old mill. Good location to visit La Morra and the Barolo region, as well as Alba. The owner will...

This is just a post script to our earlier post. We both cook and we used the flour the hotel gave us to make pasta (see previous post). We have used 00 grade flour before, but the pasta we made was just the best, silky smooth and rolled out to a very fine number - also, it tased yummmy. So...

It's a very good place to stay and well priced for the area and the amenities. The rooms are well appointed and spacious. Our bathroom had recently been renovated. The breakfast is one of the better ones I've had at B&B in Italy or France. It's not the usual pastry and coffee but a full spread of home cooked delights....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our old family home was renovated and turned into a lovely B&B called "Fior di Farine" three years ago, however, carefully preserving the original structure of the house. It is situated in La Morra, in the heart of the Langhe area, in front of our flour mill "Mulino Sobrino", a jewel of milling architecture being an historical plant, mainly built of wood. It has five rooms with bathroom; delicious organic food is included in the breakfast. ... more   less
