The greatest strength of the hotel that it is a great value for money for budget travellers who don't mind living in a decently comfortable, quite clean but by no means fancy or stylish , and due to the busy road, somewhat noisy place. One should know what to expect for the price charged. The staff are ( a family) very friendly; one member of the staff fluent in English, with the others 5- 10 words of Russian will be handly. You can get a pretty good breakfast upon request ( about 10 Gel). The location is pretty good - it's an easy 10-minute walk from the center.

Located right next to a hospital should things go wrong…this cute little boutique hotel located on the edge of town as you arrive from Tbilisi is the perfect base to explore the wonderful town of Kutaisi. And it is insanely cheap for what you get – a very clean but adequate place to sleep. You are not coming here for the hotel, but it is more than fine to rest your head after a full day’s discovery of what can be found a short-walk away. Warning – this is not a hotel for those who cannot climb stairs. I had to huff and puff my way up the third-floor so make sure you ask for lower rooms if your knees are weak. Breakfast is not exciting but you should be eating it in one of the many interesting places not far away anyway. If you are driving there is plenty parking available in the hospital parking-lot 50m away. I travelled with a friend and both rooms had cute little balconies should you be a smoker as the rooms are non-smoking. It was chilly so I did not try the aircon but it looked functional and new. There is a little superette right next to the entrance should you want to buy bottled water or a snack. If you are on a budget or seek more than the place you will sleep - this will fit the bill.

I chose this hotel based on TripAdvisor reviews and was not disappointed. This is a fine hotel. Modern, basic and clean. It's very near to train station number 1, and about ten minute walk to the central square. There's a good breakfast in the morning, a mix of Georgian and Western styles. Bockwurst, fried eggs as well as cheese pastries and local veg and fruit. For me, what pushes this review to five star is the hospitality of George and his team. He is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable about the local area and Georgia as a whole, can recommend days out, restaurants etc. On arrival to David the Builder airport at 1.30am we got an airport transfer organised by George, only 15 Lari each. To leave Kutaisi we had to get to the next town's train station and George gave us a lift there, about twenty minutes, free of charge. I also must make special mention of George's wife's aunt who works for him and took very good care of us while we were in the hotel. Thank you both.

We had a 1 night stay here on our way to Mestia. Check in was quick...its a tiny lobby and we were the only ones checking in. Our rooms were already paid for so there wasnt a whole lot to do. We asked about laundry and they mentioned having it on site. Its charged by the kilo and extremely reasonable. We basically just wound up turning in our entire bag to get laundered and it was ready the next morning right on time. No issues at all there. Wifi worked. Room was comfortable. AC worked really well. Plenty of free parking. Breakfast was included and while basic, it was hearty and satisfying and fresh. Tea is available all day in the lobby. There was a nice small balcony in the room as well if you wanted to step outside. A small mini fridge in the room which was good to chill water. Bathroom was clean and functional and had hot water. There isnt much to complain about here. Good location, convenient base. Everything worked like it should. Great price. Cant go wrong!

We initially stayed at the hotel for 4 nights then went to Tbilisi before returning to stay for one final night (due to flights). We were actually both looking forward to getting back to Kutaisi and staying here again!!. George is the best host. I liaised with him through WhatsApp a couple of months before arriving and booked him for airport transfers and also a day trip to all of the surrounding sites in Kutaisi and then for the Pillar and Caves further afield on the way to Tbilisi. He will drive you himself and help with an itinerary, the cost of these tours is excellent too and its so handy that you don't need to worry about anything. The hotel is well situated and a 10 minute walk to the city centre. There are two shops nearby that are open all hours and although situated next to the hospital there is hardly any noise. The room was great with no problems and WiFi was good. For breakfast I'd just WhatsApp George the day before and tell him what time and what we wanted!! I appreciate we went out of season but this service was amazing. Breakfast was lovely and I cannot fault anything at all. George went out of this way to help us and if you need anything he is only a message away. If we return to Georgia we will stay here again and then maybe venture to another city before coming back. I would seriously recommend this place and George to anyone.

Basic hotel, run by super friendly people (owner speaks English, I think the other staff not). It's not chique but my room was clean, wifi worked well, shower was good and bed slept fine. Breakfast is made for you and with yummy local specialties!!

Stayed here for 1 night and have to say the host knows his stuff. Very helpful and told us about the train to Batumi the following day which we got. The location is great only a short walk to city centre and Bagrati Cathedral. We stayed in family room which was clean and had great WiFi and bathroom. Sheets were clean and comfortable too. Recommended.

Stayed for one night in this hotel, which is a small family run one. The rooms were small but clean and the breakfast the next morning was excellent. The owner helped organise our transport to Tbilisi the next morning and was in general very helpful and all the staff were friendly. The hotel had good wifi.

We stayed in this hotel in June. The rooms are slightly worn and looked better on the pictures. Breakfast was surprisingly good. They prefer that you pay for the room in cash (actually, I don’t even know if there was a possibility to pay with card). There was a little shop next to the hotel, were you can buy food for dinner and eat in the hotel lobby. The receptionist/host was very polite. I would recommend this hotel for short stay.

Recently did 1 night in this hotel. Hotel arranged for us to be collected from airport and there was a lady at reception to greet us despite having arrived at 2am because of delayed flight. Rooms are small but clean with good showers. Great breakfast the next morning and a taxi organized by owner to drive us to Tbilisi. This is a small budget hotel that is ideal for short stay. Ideal for people passing through with lovely staff.
