Detailed Reviews
We were moved here as the Hotel Diplomati where we booked had some thechnical problems in the room we booked and cannot accomodate us.
We were lucky as this Hotel looks much more modern and well equipped than the Diplomati. The only accomodation i have experienced in Georgia with english speaking staff, modern decor, confortable rooms, good wide screen tv with international channels, nice balcony, air conditioned. They also organized the transfer to the airport.
The only issue was that some drunk junk tried to introduce in the room in the middle of the night waking us up.

This hotel opened on August 2014, so it's really new. The rooms are bright and feature parquet floors and wooden furniture. Mattresses are comfortable. The hotel is run by two brothers, who have experience in hotel management, they are very friendly and one of them speaks English. So he will be able to provide useful information and organize a tour around Kutaisi. We chose the room for three people, even though we were in two, to get the room more spacious and with balcony. Perfect air conditioned. The room has no fridge, but you can use the one on the ground floor, where there is also a coffee corner for guests. The hotel is located a 15-minute walk from the city center, or a taxi ride ( 4-5 gel) This hotel was definitely a great choice, great value for money

Stayed here for 1 night and have to say the host knows his stuff. Very helpful and told us about the train to Batumi the following day which we got.
The location is great only a short walk to city centre and Bagrati Cathedral.
We stayed in family room which was clean and had great WiFi and bathroom. Sheets were clean and comfortable too. Recommended.

We stayed in this hotel in June. The rooms are slightly worn and looked better on the pictures. Breakfast was surprisingly good. They prefer that you pay for the room in cash (actually, I don’t even know if there was a possibility to pay with card). There was a little shop next to the hotel, were you can buy food for dinner and eat in the hotel lobby. The receptionist/host was very polite. I would recommend this hotel for short stay.

The host Giorgio was in touch with us even before we arrived. He advised us on taxi fares to the hotel and was very welcoming when we arrived. He was the only person that we met in Kudaisi who spoke English! Giorgio also organized a driver to take us to a few sights. The hotel room was cozy with comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom with steaming hit water. A very clean and tidy little hotel within easy reach of the white bridge and the market place.

In my first day in Georgia, after taking the taxi from the airport at 5AM and seeing my booked hostel closed, I had the luck of a friendly taxi driver that stood with me until I reached a place in safety. Well he choosed this hotel for me due to being friend with the owner and it seemed he would often suggest this hotel to guests in his car. I was lucky. The hotel was really clean, quiet and without any disconfort. I paid 20 euros per night for a 2 persons room, a good price I would say. The owner speaks really good english and that is a plus. A final thing I will remind, it is close to the city center and in a peacefull area. Actually all Kutaisi is peacfull but that zone remained in my head. Hope I will be back soon to Kutaisi. P.S they received me at 6am, earlier than usually are granted the room. That was also a plus.

I chose this hotel based on TripAdvisor reviews and was not disappointed.
This is a fine hotel. Modern, basic and clean. It's very near to train station number 1, and about ten minute walk to the central square.
There's a good breakfast in the morning, a mix of Georgian and Western styles. Bockwurst, fried eggs as well as cheese pastries and local veg and fruit.
For me, what pushes this review to five star is the hospitality of George and his team. He is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable about the local area and Georgia as a whole, can recommend days out, restaurants etc. On arrival to David the Builder airport at 1.30am we got an airport transfer organised by George, only 15 Lari each. To leave Kutaisi we had to get to the next town's train station and George gave us a lift there, about twenty minutes, free of charge.
I also must make special mention of George's wife's aunt who works for him and took very good care of us while we were in the hotel.
Thank you both.

We had a 1 night stay here on our way to Mestia. Check in was quick...its a tiny lobby and we were the only ones checking in. Our rooms were already paid for so there wasnt a whole lot to do. We asked about laundry and they mentioned having it on site. Its charged by the kilo and extremely reasonable. We basically just wound up turning in our entire bag to get laundered and it was ready the next morning right on time. No issues at all there.
Wifi worked. Room was comfortable. AC worked really well. Plenty of free parking. Breakfast was included and while basic, it was hearty and satisfying and fresh. Tea is available all day in the lobby. There was a nice small balcony in the room as well if you wanted to step outside. A small mini fridge in the room which was good to chill water. Bathroom was clean and functional and had hot water.
There isnt much to complain about here. Good location, convenient base. Everything worked like it should. Great price. Cant go wrong!

We initially stayed at the hotel for 4 nights then went to Tbilisi before returning to stay for one final night (due to flights). We were actually both looking forward to getting back to Kutaisi and staying here again!!.
George is the best host. I liaised with him through WhatsApp a couple of months before arriving and booked him for airport transfers and also a day trip to all of the surrounding sites in Kutaisi and then for the Pillar and Caves further afield on the way to Tbilisi. He will drive you himself and help with an itinerary, the cost of these tours is excellent too and its so handy that you don't need to worry about anything.
The hotel is well situated and a 10 minute walk to the city centre. There are two shops nearby that are open all hours and although situated next to the hospital there is hardly any noise.
The room was great with no problems and WiFi was good. For breakfast I'd just WhatsApp George the day before and tell him what time and what we wanted!! I appreciate we went out of season but this service was amazing.
Breakfast was lovely and I cannot fault anything at all. George went out of this way to help us and if you need anything he is only a message away.
If we return to Georgia we will stay here again and then maybe venture to another city before coming back. I would seriously recommend this place and George to anyone.
