Beautiful hotel provided everything we needed for our romantic getaway. Our appartment was quite spaceous and had a very nice design. The staff was friendly and offered us great tips for activities in the area. We have also enjoyed the sauna after our hikes to the near hills. Wholeheartedly recommend for any couples looking for a cozy place to stay!

This place is an Alpine jewel. I love this in-between concept of apart-hotel. All apartments are fully furnished but it's also possible to use the hotel options, such as breakfast and even dinner in the restaurant if you want to. It's not a la carte dinner, but a menu which can be ordered up to a few hours before in case people decide not to cook in the apartment. The same goes for cleaning. It's better to have this option. The hotel is tastefully decorated and the apartments have a nice kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher and coffee machine. Pots, pans and dishes are available. Plenty of clean towels, bath robe and towels for the sauna. The bathrooms in the apartments are large and have a beautiful spa-finish. There's also a sauna and a rooftop whirlpool with a perfect view of the mountain. The location is also great. There are several restaurants a few meters away as is a supermarket. Ski and other activities are also close by. All in all, perfect location. Staff- competent and friendly. Pleasant people. My only comment where something could be improved is the bathroom mirrors, which hang so high up that you can only see yourself if you're over 1.75 m tall. Not nice at all and in any case, women prefer mirrors where are larger portion of the body can be seen. But this is a minimal detail which can be easily fixed.

We stayed for two weeks in this place. We had an apartment which was clean, modern, and very comfortable. We were very late arriving, and knew we would be. So, owners left our key in the code-locked box by the back door, and we were able to let ourselves into the building, and access our room without any hassle at all, then formally introducing ourselves in the morning. Very pleasant and helpful staff. There is a breakfast available if you wish (extra), but we stayed with our own room as this suited us better. Kitchenette is, of necessity, small. But coffee making machine, and toaster provided. Fridge spotless, with freezer compartment incorporated. We ate in most days and found it perfectly acceptable. Cleaning staff come in every morning. Bedroom and sitting/dining room both give access to a small balcony (separated from the neighbour's balcony by a cloth barrier). Views across to mountains were lovely. The only downside is the traffic noise in the mornings. It's not particularly heavy, but the acoustics are such that it becomes noticeable. If you are an early riser, and intend to get out walking/cycling for the day, you won't notice it. Very quiet at night, so sleep is not disturbed. The location is superb as you have easy access to the beautiful valley itself, and numerous walking and cycling paths all around. Suggest you must visit Mittenwald (just over the border in Gernany), and take various cable cars up 2,000 - 2,900 meters and various easy-reach sites (we had a rented car). Highly recommend you hire one of the e-bikes on site, and tour the valley at least (you may not wish to take on steeper mountain routes, but you could!). The roof features a hot tub! There is also a sauna available, with towels and gowns provided. Another feature of the area in general, is that most tourists are German, Austrian, or Italian, and only very occasional English-speakers like ourselves. That was refreshing. This is a place you could easily come back to!

Went there in August.2017 for 6 nights as 1st Star in my trip in Austria. Booked just 4 weeks before the flight, and found that she has only 1 garden apartment, The cost was more than normal, but it worth it. it was perfect apartment. The lady "Monica " gave us great help with any question we just ask. has all needed information about the area.

Booked a couple of rooms last minute for an overnight stop during a mountain bike tour in the region. The booking process was child's play & the responsiveness of the team was second to none. Room prices were very reasonable indeed. Arrived after a day in the saddle to a warm welcome by Stefan (the owner), who locked our bikes away in his own garage. After being personally shown to our rooms, we were really happy with what greeted us - good sized rooms, balconies & very modern bathrooms. After freshening up, we decided to eat in - the restaurant menu had plenty to offer. Food was piping hot & tasty - and service there when you need it. Prices again very reasonable. After a night's rest, a good self service buffet breakfast rounded off a great stay - not forgetting, of course, a warm goodbye at check-out from Stefan's wife. Certainly recommended by both of us, without a shadow of a doubt! Thank you Team Pichler's Alpenlodge - I'm sure we'll be back!!!

Rooms are always strictly kept clean and tidy. Particular attention is reserved to childrens: painting placemat, crayons and a small gift to each dish. Near the dining room they can find a small room dedicated to games and outdoor there are some equipment for outdoor recreation. Very good is relationship between quality of service and price. Exemplary hospitality and courtesy that never fail, by all staff, but in particular by the owner, Stephan. I stayed three times with the family and I have never been disappointed. Thanks Stephan and his staff!
