Still as good as ever before. We keep coming back to spend a month at this resort every August when the weather is dry and mild. Excellent value for long stays. Our two bedroom apartment was spacious and even had a spa bath. The location is ideal; short walk to Mooloolaba shops and restaurants and a five minute busride Maroochydore....

Headland Tropicana is an older hotel in Mooloolaba. The apartment was clean and well resourced. We had a two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms. We had a view of the pool and could see the ocean from our patio. There is no lift , just 3 floors. Check in was quick and easy and on leaving we left our keys...

We spent 8 days at the Headland Tropicana Resort in May 2016. We were impressed with the spacious one bedroom apartment. Great value and well appointed with everything you need but they don't replace toiletries or toilet paper during the stay. It is getting a bit old but very clean and comfortable. The reception hours are a bit short but...

Second time here cos we knew it was good. Didn't expect to get the same apartment as last time; that was a bonus. I did forget the traffic can get noisy from 5am week days but looking out at the wonderful view over the ocean mostly makes up for that. Knew people staying in bottom apartment and a lot quieter...

I was in a freshly renovated one bedroom unit. Spacious living area and a good view from the top floor. If you are challenged by stairs you may wish to consider a lower level room as there is no lift in the building.

I start this review by making it clear we got this unit through a deal on wotif, on the understanding that it was an older unit without air-conditioning. Unit 24. It was an older complex, our unit was very, very tired, without air con (I am led to believe most, if not all the rest do have air con). It...

The hotel does not have a lift, but don't let that put you off. Absolutely beautiful view, stayed in a 3 b/room on the third floor. The receptionist was very lovely and friendly. It is central to cafes, shopping, and other activities in the area. The apartment was clean, tidy, and had all the modern amenities. Picked the hotel for...

Had a 3 bedroom apartment on level 3 we shared with friends. The location and view was fantastic, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The resort itself is a bit tired however the setup was great as it is family friendly and affordable. The indoor and outdoor pools were great and we used both.....the only down side was there...

One of the older unit complexes on the Alex / Mooloolaba headland but most of the units internally have been refurbished and are clean and very comfotrtable. Great views and within easy walking distance to the cafés, restaurants and shops of Mooloolaba. The on site manager's Mandy and Doug are very friendly and helpful. A great place to use as...

Tropicana or El Paso as we named it was alright, stayed here last minute for 2 nights as needed a stopover and everywhere was full, it was OK but would not have chosen this place under normal circumstances. Apartment was large and cleanish, it needs a full refurb as still stuck in the eighties when it was built. Luckily we...
