We only stayed here as we needed something at the last minute and couldn't find anything else. It's basically bag packer's level quality but then massively overpriced. Surprisingly, the mattress was actually quite good, but that was about the only thing. The lighting was awful, the bathroom (in particular the shower curtain) wasn't clean and the rooms have a bad... Am easy walk from anything on town, Samaná Springs has very affordable rooms that are clean and had plenty of space for our family. The bathroom had hot water, the TV worked (though we didn't really use it), and the air conditioner would have been tricky but they write the remote frequency on the side (it's between 1 and 100).

This is a great little place, and well worth the price! It was very clean, and the staff was so friendly. They made me feel quite at home, and were so patient with my sub-par Spanish that I insisted on using because I am trying to learn. :) My only complaint is that the wifi was a fairly weak, and... The hotel are nothing special but it costs 35 dollar pr. night so who can expect it to be that? Rooms are ok, they are clean but a little bit wet and dark. Come to Samana for the whale watching, 2 days here should be enough.

We spent 2 nights here while in Samana to see the whales. This is a simple, small hotel that is similar to a hostel. We had a two bed room with a bathroom. GREAT value for what you pay. Awesome location!

Number 28 was leaking water from toilet so we reported the problem at check out and they inmediatly send someone. Good sized room with 2... More

We did not have any reservation, but had read about this hotel on the Internet. Our rented car was parked right outside and soon we were booked into our spacious clean room. This was really value for money. We stocked up at the local supermarket and enjoyed sandwiches on the common front balcony watching life go by. In the morning... More

My husband and I stayed one night in this hotel prior to going to an all inclusive resort. I would not hesitate to stay in town again. The room was clean and the wifi and air conditioning worked great! There was water and coffee available near the lobby. I like the town of Samana the only problem is people constantly... More
