Great Location. That's about it. It's DUMP. Old hotel, unkempt in terms of simple maintenance. Rooms are dirty and smelly, windows are not insulated allowing noise to come thru - lower floors don't have WIFI access. For guests staying in lower floors WIFI access is only in the lobby restaurant, which has a very poor connection. Front desk employees are...

So I have visited here on many occasions. Each time if there is an issue (and it's normally with the restaurant staff), I mention it to them. The service is still poor with waiters standing around watching Tv and laughing loudly. Very unprofessional. I had an interesting discussion with the waiter why there were no mangoes available 3 days in a...

The hotel's name itself says "Don" Felipe which means you should feel like a "don". But in reality you just feel like "dong". The hotel needs an upgrade to cope up with development of other hotels in Ormoc City

Since there isn't much to choose from in ormoc this hotel will do. At around$54 a night is was OK, nothing special. The balcony was nice to sit out and watch the ocean. Otherwise this is just a place to stay. I would probably look for something else in the future.

The staff are friendly and I liked the location of the hotel as it is central to everything I needed. However I found the restaurant staff lazy as they stood around or leaning on furniture chatting or watching tv. I ordered a mango shake and when I enquired about it an hour later they said it will be here soon....

This largely serves as a transit hotel for Ormoc. Pros: It is close to the ferry and the bus/van terminal. If you need a night to transit, this is your best option. The rooms are large and some have sea views (very nice views). It was clean. There was lots of hot water in the shower. Safety deposit boxes. Very...

It is a pretty basic hotel. Ive heard it's been in better condition. There was no Wi-Fi which is a deal-breaker. There were areas with dirty piles of laundry just left there. The rooms were very dated. But at least was able to take a nice hot shower after flying in from Seattle. There is a restaurant downstairs where the...

There are other places to stay in Ormoc that are better quality, but since I only need somewhere to sleep, I cant be bothered paying Big City prices for small town experiences. So on this trip I stayed here on two separate occasions. 10 Dec-22 Dec and 29 Dec to 4 Jan. During the first stint I had a chat...

Since 2008 I come a lot to Ormoc City and Don Felipe Hotel. The place is getting worse every year. It's not clean at all. The bathroom is horrible. And for 1,850PHP way to expensive. Everything is so old and worn down. The staff is friendly. But they should really start renovating the place. Please don't go there.

The most desgusting hotel we ever had on our vacation. We only stayed one night everytime we arrived in Ormoc. You hear alots of noise that doesn't give you any comfort to rest. Old dirty bathroom, handles of the showers are broken and no hot shower. This hotel really need to renovate.
