This hotel is really great. Not everyone wants to spend 10 or 20 euros per person a night, but if you do... First of all: the restaurant is really good. Nice dinner, lunch and breakfast. Last one is even included in the price of the room. It all looks really great! The room is quite modern, clean and the beds...

Nice colonial building in the center of the city, 50m from riverside. Confortable and beautiful decorated rooms. The breakfast (included) is fine, average, although some more bread would be much appreciated. Food in the restaurant is also fine, but drinks expensive. I would repeat here if I come back, for sure. If it is in your budget, I am sure...

I have been travelling in Asia for seven months now, and the service I received in this hotel is up there with the worst I have received. We booked two deluxe bedrooms (two couples) and one was significantly nicer than the other. One had a balcony and was airy and light (although the street was so noisy they couldn't sleep...

This hotel could be really good, with potential in the rooms and restaurant area. However, the staff are truly some of the worst I have dealt with in SE Asia. Our room was not available (broken A/C apparently... but they just double-booked, it turns out!) so they put us in a dingy room with hardly any light, no space for...

This place is pretty expensive compared to other options in town. It did not live up to expectations. One room had a very noisy a/c, while the next one we got had a balcony door that did not close properly and was on the street side. Noisy again.. The staff was not really friendly and helpful either. The rooms themselves...

We stayed here twice but the second time only because Thakek lacks a simular affordable alternative and I think that is what is why this hotel is being booked. Rooms are clean and beds are comfi, however staff was the unfriendliest and even arrogant. Never experienced anything like in during three months in Asia. On asking if we could leave...

Rooms are nice enough, but we had a very disappointing experience thanks to the terrible service hotel staff provides. Personnel is unattentive, uninterested and some are even plain unfriendly. After returning from a trek we were suddenly charged $8 extra per night, while we clearly agreed on being charged the same rate before leaving. It was only after we collected...

The hotel was ok for a short stay. The staff are relatively friendly and helpful. My room was clean, bed comfortable but the pillows were like huge rocks (extremely uncomfortable) and the air conditioner was not working effectively, i.e. not cool enough given outside temperatures of 40 degrees. The staff did try to fix it though but it was still...

Staff of Inthira encouraged me to join their party with beer to drink and water thrown over me to cool down. A lot of fun dancing in the hotel and on the street. Great people, contemporary décor and professional service. A great place to drop in for a drink or meal on Fountain Square in Thakhek. During Pi Mai Lao,...

This hotel is set in a beautifully restored French colonial style building looking onto the main town square. The rooms was spotless and the free breakfast was basic but nice. The food in the restaurant was reasonably priced and served in decent sized portions. The hotel also has a tours desk which arranged a very informative and interesting tour of...
