I booked this tour blind from San Francisco. It is rustic but one of the best stays I ever had. It is located near the Panamanian border. On the side of a hill over looking the Pacific Ocean. We landed there in a small aircraft on a dirt road where an ox cart met us to pull our bags up...

A three-generation group of us stayed at Tiskita just after Christmas. We had a terrific time, and loved the wildness of the place. The lodge holds about 40 guests, and all the meals are served family style in the main lodge. The guest rooms are rustic cabins with the bathrooms open to the outside(but still private). There is no A/C,...

A friend and I stayed at Tiskita Jungle Lodge in April 2014, and without question this topped the list of all-time greatest trips. I will be going back! We stayed for 5 days before continuing to travel to some other areas around San Jose. At first we were a little nervous about getting there, having never been to Costa Rica...

We spent a week at Tiskita and it was heavenly. The animal life is simply stunning, the people we met were delightful, and the peace and quiet were unparalleled. I'm not a yoga person, but I did yoga at Tiskita every day - the teacher and the space were both perfect. Bring a stack of books and your camera, along...

I just came back from a 5 days vacation from Tiskita Lodge. The owners are great people and their place is amazing. I'm from Costa Rica and it was my first time in Pavones and Punta Banco, The beaches are beautiful. We saw a lot of animals at the Lodge and really enjoyed our stay there.

I first went to Tiskita in 1992 and loved it then as I loved it on this return visit. Peter has let the jungle grow back in from the cattle field it once was so the wildlife is incredibly close at hand. You can literally sit by the pool or under the trees across from the eating area and you...

We have been spending part of every January for 10 years in Tiskita. From our first visit we have been enchanted with the setting and the Aspinal family who welcomed us. We love flying in over the ocean, we love the private cabins spread out in the forest surrounding the main lodge, we love the beautifully prepared meals, we love...

We spend the first three nights of our trip to Costa Rica at Tiskita and though we took the small plane from San Jose over, which if you are not a fan of small planes can be a challenge, it was he quickest way to get there. The lodge is beautiful and the jungle surroundings provide for opportunities to see...

Since it was my first visit to Costa Rica, I went with a small ecotour group. Our first two nights were spent at Tiskita... I did not want to leave. I am planning to go back next year and spend my entire vacation just at Tiskita. There is so much to do.. it is truly an awesome place to relax...

My family visited Tiskita in December, the 3rd visit for three of our group. Tiskita is truly a paradise. We never left the preserve, with jungle hikes, a guided night hike, ocean swimming, relaxing by the pool and cooling off in the waterfall . Accommodations (3 unit cabin) were perfect , offering privacy and ocean view. The food was amazing...
