Really enjoyed our two night stay in superior room on fourth floor of hotel. Comfy bed in spacious room, with good (if compact bathroom). Loved really good continental breakfast, drinks in comfy bar and really friendly and helpful reception staff. Hired bikes from hotel for sunny day biking around the city, which was convenient and easy option and seemed good...

Great place to stay in Copenhagen. Just a 15 minute walk away from the main City area and Tivoli Gardens. Would highly recommend the Copenhagen Card [ see the www ]. It pays for itself within 2 admissions and includes free Metro and buses. The Olbar directly opposite is a very friendly pub and would recommend, with guest draught beers...

We had a lovely couple of nights at avenue. Staff were lovely and very helpful and loved the breakfast and bar area - kids were tired after a busy day at Tivoli so the staff organised a take away pizza for us which was a great idea. Our room was a bit small and not what we were expecting but...

Clean room, helpful staff, nice old building. Breakfast offered a diverse variety of foods. Too cold to use the deck but would have been nice in warmer weather. We stayed 2 nights and no one cleaned the second day.

The room was nice and the breakfast simple but sooo yummy. The girls at the reception superfriendly. The location was also good: not far from the center but also not in a busy area. We loved our staying there!

Was looking for somewhere to stay for 2 nights in C/hagen on business. This place is sensibly priced, withing a few hundred metres of a metro.... Nice reception area, did not have time to try breakfast, WIFI, etc.

We stayed here for a couple of nights in July'15 and the overall experience was very pleasant. The hotel is situated in a convenient location and is easily accessible by Metro as well as buses. The staff were friendly and despite our very early arrival, they were quite accommodating. The road facing rooms can be a bit noisy at night,...

Staying in Frederiksberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Frederiksberg
Located between Noerrebro and Vesterbro you’ll find Frederiksberg, which is actually a municipality in itself but completely surrounded by Copenhagen. Here there are several fine theaters, from the experimental to the great Det Ny Teater (The New Theater) which specializes in transcribing the great London and New York musicals into Danish, and has done so for several years with huge success. In Frederiksberg you’ll find Denmark’s most beautiful (and expensive) city villas. These 4-5 square miles form the Beverly Hills of Copenhagen. Here you’ll also find Frederiksberg Have (Garden) which sports huge outdoor concerts, from classical to electronic dance music. To top it off, dining options range from cozy family restaurants to some of the area’s most trendy cafés.
