This is probably the best hotel I have ever been to. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are spacious, the food is great, the SPA and the massages are very professional. The landscape is beautiful and very calming. The staff is very courteous and competent. Oh Jesus! I am looking forward to COME HERE AGAIN!
We spent one night during our travel to Austria there. We were surprised by nice staff, low price and fine small wellness included in the price. We were satisfied with the room, comfortable bed and a choice of pillows. For the breakfast there was a wide range of variety. Parking for free. The facility was little bit old fashioned but clean. More cleanliness could be in wellness.
Acomodation is not bat, bud personal in this hotel are really unfriendly. When you want somethink, they have a lot of negative word and after negotiating (5-10min) take you, what you order. Really nice place, the worst personal.
Spent a week in this hotel with my family. The hotel itself is quite nice and modern, has air-conditioned rooms, a decent restaurant, good swimming pool and Jacuzzi, tennis court, bowling, small and cozy garden, playground for smaller kids etc. Also a good choice for bike enthusiasts, offers bike storage, rentals etc. So far so good, unfortunately the overall experience is not as good, mostly due to stupid management decisions and inattentive personnel. Definitively not how would you expect it in a 4* hotel! We stayed for 5 days, our room was "somewhat cleaned" three times, once out of the three visits they did not even bother to make the beds. Forget about refilling bathroom supplies. On the arrival, some "leftover" papers from the previous occupants found in the desk drawer. Carpets in the hallway were cleaned probably like a decade ago. Patches of sand in the corners of the (indoor) swimming pool, etc. With the exception of two receptionists and one waiter in the restaurant, the staff was inattentive, looked bored and behaved like they are bothered by our presence. The choice of meals for breakfast is decent, though sometimes it takes 15 minutes till they realize something is gone and bring a new plate. Then you go for lunch to the hotel restaurant. It is almost empty, yet you wait 15 minutes till someone comes to get your orders. We learned that they have kids menu only from one waiter, other ones never even told us about it. (The meals were very good though). They offered table-tennis, so we asked. 'The table is "somewhere in the basement", but we'll see what we can do,' told us the receptionist. We asked again in the evening and the day after, never got any answer, nor an apology for being unable to provide what they offered. Last but not least -- they take literally every effort to charge you extra money. Want to play pool, electronic darts or foosball? That's CZK 10 per game. Your kids wants ketchup instead of mayo with the grilled cheese? They leave out the mayo (which was included), add ketchup and CZK 15 to your bill. Obviously, this is the management decision and they do inform you upfront, but it feels kinda cheep and inappropriate for a 4* facility. In other words, if they'll fire the manager and find someone who has customer care as a top priority and ensures the personnel behaves, I will happily come back. Otherwise -- definitely not worth another visit.…
I have found out that there is a reconstructed military bunker next to the hotel premises which they also rent to adventurers as "balicek pro dobrodruhy" and you get to sleep in the bunker, breakfast in the hotel the next day and one hour of wellness in the hotel too. There are two "beds" under the two "windows" but it is open and the wind was blowing in so we had to isolate it with a blanket. The receptionist offered us blankets although they should provide us with sleeping bags (no mention of that what so ever) but we had our own so it was not a problem. We got a torch and there were two candles in the bunker too. There is a stable temperature of 15 C and when we "closed the windows" it was absolutely dark inside so we had a great quiet sleep. The breakfast the next morning was with "normal" hotel guests and it was very tasty, plentiful and nice. We went for a walk around the vineyards and use the wellness in the afternoon and at 3 p.m. there was no one in the whirlpool so we had a private spa ;-) Well, it is not for everyone but I was pleasantly surprised and the countryside in the area is beautiful with many opportunities for walks, biking tours or just wine tasting in nearby cellars ;-) If you want to try something else I highly recommend sleeping in the bunker.…
