We got this hotel room before a day to easter. Wonderful place. Very nice and friendly host. Good services and nice breakfast. Also pet friendly. This is placed within the national park however, here on the map- location is given different. Try to go by the post code rather than going through the inbuilt map link.

I stayed at the Hotel with my girlfriend for a one night stay with breakfast (brought from wowcha for £49). Overall the hotel was good. It is a great location for walks although you definitely have to drive to the nearest shop/pub (this didn't bother us though and we visited/ate in Ashbourne- about 12 mins drive away). It was also...

This is a nice hotel and we were lucky to get a reservation so close to the Easter bank holiday. The staff who run the place are all very friendly, and made us feel welcome. Our room was cosy and had its own en-suite shower. The shower itself didn't have great water pressure, unfortunately, so my wife had trouble washing...

Upon our late check in me and my friend were greeted by a lovely man (think his name was cliff) who stayed up late to greet us when we arrived at the hotel. He was really friendly and welcoming! The hotel is in a really secluded area which is nice and there's no noise when you're in your room. Rooms...

The welcome was friendly, and the hotel was in a lovely location. Unfortunately afer a lovely motorbike ride to the hotel the weather went against us, and we were unable to explore the grounds or walks. This was ok as we thought we could relax in our room until dinner, unfortunately the room was very cold (room 11) . My...

Great location for the local walks which is why we visited, and very obliging we booked through late rooms with a dog attending. This message never got to the hotel, but problem sorted quickly we even got the choice from two rooms. We had cows outside the window, which didn't cause us a problem but I can see that they...

Found all staff extremely friendly and helpful. Stayed for one night had a evening meal which was fine. Walks straight on to the Tissington trail which is ideal for dogs.Breakfast was hearty and nice staff yet again. Could eat in the bar area for dinner and breakfast with the dogs.
