Lovely friendly place, we were able to take the dog In a small room in side as well as having outside seating, the cakes are home made and absolutely delicious, daily specials as well as the usual menu, nice clean and bright environment, free wi fi.

Clean, really friendly and excellent breakfast. Very quiet and comfy beds. Secure bike storage for those on the way of the Roses. The village is beautiful with a lovely park which is great for families.

Two nights with some very pleasant hosts. Enjoyed company of other walkers. They offered us two nights for the price of one. Breakfast was good in comfortable room. Lounge next room was great for tired legs.

Stayed at Talbot House for 2 nights. Pleasant owners who also run the café in the same building. Try some of their cakes- you won't be disappointed. Room clean with a good shower. Plenty of choice at breakfast with hot food cooked when ordered.

It is important to point out that we did not stay at Talbot House, we did however stop off for a bite to eat after a walk around the area. The food was simple home cooked produce, hot and served with a smile. What more could you ask for on a cold winters day.

I could find this place in the restaurant listings and it should be there as a different business? Found this place for lunch on a very quiet day in PB. Had very nice toasties and wish we had time to try the amazing selection of home baked cakes.

Stopped to have a look around Pateley Bridge & stopped for lunch at the Talbot house. Lovely little restaurant with a good choice of food, from sandwiches to cooked meals. Good range of beverages, cakes etc. My wife had homemade soup with hot crusty bread, perfect!. I had a sausage & onion baguette, again perfect. Bought two Pateley rascals to eat...

My friends and I visit The Talbot every week for lunch. We usually have something different every time, and each meal is delicious. The service is excellent as are the prices. All the staff are friendly and it's a very comfortable place to be in. You should try it!

Stayed overnight during our Way of the Roses cycle trip. Absolutely wonderful and we'll have no hesitation booking again. The lady owners couldn't do enough to make us comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding and we're looking forward to a return visit. Thank you!
