I decided to stay here for one night as a stop-off on my way home. Initially the appearance of the hotel is striking, but it could do with a little more spending on it, particularly the grounds, as it is such a lovely location. My room was pleasant with a rather eclectic range of furnishing. The shower (no bath) was...

This hotel is close enough to Pateley bridge to walk into town but still secluded and peaceful with beautiful scenery and grounds. Lovely place with many twists and turns in the corridors full of intestine things. Had small bedroom which was big enough for two. Good choice of programmes on television comfy bed and lovely bathroom. Plenty of furniture to...

We dined on Easter Saturday evening. Starters of goats cheese and fish cakes delicious. Then the service was not great. My main meal was not as requested and had to be replated and the jug of water promised between starters and mains arrived after the mains were finished. Husband did not enjoy the chicken supreme which came with a sharp...

A work trip last year brought us to Harefield hall by accident, and I promised myself to return with my partner and our bikes. It was the right decision. Fantastic food - the chef clearly knows exactly what he is doing. One of the best english breakfasts we have ever had, all ingredients high quality, perfectly cooked and presented with...

Out in a photography trip in Yorkshire I stayed in a small tower room at Harefield Hall on 7 April 2017. Lovely old hall, grounds to walk in too with statues and water within the woods. Great little bar with well kept real ale that attracts locals too - which is always a good sign. Attractive dining area including a...

My wife and I have stayed here some time ago and loved it so we returned and just had another very enjoyable stay at Harefield Hall, even better than last time. We stayed in room 10, a beautiful double room at the front with a bay window and stunning views over Nidderdale. The bathroom was modern and the bed huge...

We called Harefield Hall to see if we could park the Motorhome in the car park overnight on our way to Scotland. Elaine was very helpful & although the restaurant would be closed by the time we arrived there was no issue. When we got there we went into the bar for a drink & Elaine gave us directions to...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Harefield Hall is an over 16's, non-corporate family run guest house. Situated in 24 acres of woodland overlooking the Nidd Valley it is the perfect place to come and relax. Our restaurant offers a wide range of bar meals and A-la-carte meals all very reasonably priced. We off a range of accommodation from Large Double rooms with beautiful views over the Valley to small double rooms, some with views and some 'budget' small doubles without views. Harefield Hall, once rumoured to belong to King Henry XIII has a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere and we cater for all occasions. We also have a modern bunkhouse which sleeps up to 14 people, with two rooms, showers and changing rooms. This is very popular for cycling groups and walkers who are looking for the chance to stay in a wonderful setting without the big price tag. We have adequate free parkinng which is covered by cctv. Our friendly staff are waiting to welcome you. ... more   less
