The location is in a nice place but a long drive from where we were, near Pickering North Yorkshire, had the set three course lunch menu nice but not outstanding so we consider it not worth the drive .

Without doubt definitely worth the visit. Located a few mile outside Pateley Bridge in a nice small village setting. Excellent menu selection and service from your canapés through to the cheese and biscuits. Enjoyed the wine paring to accompany the tasting menu and enjoyed the piece and quiet of the location. Will return soon if we can arrange it.

Have wanted to stay at The Yorke Arms for a long time and my partner surprised me for my birthday yesterday. Everything lived up to our expectations. We stayed in Room 17 in the courtyard - a little cottage really although it is classed as a superior room. Warm welcome and spent an hour in the residents lounge with a...

We stayed at the Yorke Arms in room 1. It was a lovely room with a very comfortable large bed. It also had a comfortable seating area. The 5 course taster menu was amazing, and the staff are helpful, informative and efficient, but not in your face. Breakfast was lovely too. This was our first visit here but definitely not...

We came to the Yorke Arms after watching Frances Atkins pair her favourite wine with a dish of her choice on 'The Wine Show'. Our anniversary is in January and as we couldn't necessarily rely on the weather for an outdoorsy weekend we thought we would make the journey from Hertfordshire to Yorkshire to try the 5 course tasting menu...

We stayed here for one night for our anniversary. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and our room was clean and comfortable. Our evening meal was delicious. As a vegetarian I was well catered for with lots of lovely seasonal vegetables grown in the large kitchen garden. The dessert in particular was incredible. Our only slight disappointment was that because...

My husband and I spent a lovely evening here celebrating our Silver Wedding Anniversary. We had the tasting menu with the flight of complementing wines. Needless to say the seasonal food and wine were delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed with unobtrusive service. We are looking forward to returning for another treat soon!!

This is a wonderful old building in a lovely setting; full of atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming and professional and nothing was too much trouble for them. Drinks were served in a comfortable lounge and everything seem to lead up to a pleasant evening. The food, however, surppassed everything else. It was very well judged, well presented and delicious....

The Yorke Arms is well known for its fine dining and receives excellent reviews from its clientele. However if you are looking for a coffee stop only then you may feel uncomfortable and suggest you go somewhere else

I was lucky enough to be treated to an evening at the Yorke Arms for my birthday. I must say that the attention to detail from all the staff was exceptional. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we were made to feel like Vip's. The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The wine...
