Stayed here recently as a group of 12 on a B&B basis. The hotel is clean and spacious and is located at the edge of town, about a 20 minute walk along the promenade to the town centre, although there are bars and restaurants within about a 10-minute walk. Our rooms all had sea views and were the usual hotel sized rooms. The safe was operated by the key card and there is a small fridge, although it looked quite old and took about 3 days to get to a reasonably cold temperature. There isn't a balcony, but the windows are large and slide open a long way. The shower in the bathroom was very powerful with a number of different head settings. On our first night we didn't know where to eat so we went for the buffet in the hotel for €20 each. There was a good choice of fish and meat and all was cooked as well as buffet food can be cooked and was hot and plentiful. Breakfast every day is buffet service and again there was plenty of continental choice of fruit, breads, meats, cheeses etc. There were also cereal dispensers and hot food including bacon, eggs, mushrooms etc, although this was never quite hot enough. Nice to see pancakes being made freshly every so often. Many of the bar staff have limited English so a little bit of Spanish helps and is certainly appreciated. All the staff were friendly. I think that we were the only English staying in the hotel which wasn't too busy, although it got busier over the weekend. Because of our schedule we didn't have time to use the pools. If we are ever in this area again I would consider staying here.…
Had a one night stay. Room was lovely and great view over the harbour and beach. The large terrace is great to sit out on for drinks. We had not intended to have our evening meal there but a lack of restaurants being open on a Monday night out of season meant we had no choice. The food is not good - everything was luke warm and tasteless. The only option for a vegetarian was over cooked vegetables. Breakfast was equally poor. It seems to cater for large groups doing it as cheaply as possible. There were several large groups making it a noisy experience more akin to a canteen than a relaxed restaurant
This is the second time we go for a buffet for christmaslunch. First time last year was very good a lot of choice meat, fish, desserts, etc.... But this year was a dissappointment . Very little choice of everything, the price upp with 8€, and lost but not least when we came to desserts it was finished nothing anymore... service not friendly. Dont know wat happened. So next year no more.
We really enjoyed this hotel for a six night stay with our saga group. The only thing that let's it down a little is the food. Staff are excellent and helpful and ever so efficient. Rooms are modern and comfortable with excellent cleaners. Pool area is very good with a lifeguard present. The real feature of the hotel is the large terrace bar overlooking the sea and marina, it is wonderful to relax there with a drink. For us it was a 20 minute walk into town but we found the promenade to be excellent. Loved feeding the fish at the marina in the mornings with bread rolls! Would not hesitate to stay here again.
The Hotel is located at the end of the Promenade that connects the Marina to the Town of Aguilas.about a mile away'. A lovely position. The Hotel was very comfortable with a good terrace overlooking the sea where bar service was excellent. The Buffet style Restaurant provided a good range of options to suite all tastes. The rooms themselves lack a balcony but otherwise were well furnished and comfortable . I was fortunate however to have dry warm and sunny weather throughout my 6 night stay so did not spend much time in the room itself.
