We had been looking forward to having lunch at this recommended restaurant ,we had a confirm your booking text from "open Table " on the day , but then got a call 45min ( due to bad network service ) before our booking and an email to say they were cancelling us as they werent doing lunch that day and had known for weeks that they werent doing lunches -so why wait till we had travelled an hour to let us know .then gave us a crap reason saying our booking (made months ago I might add ) was in the wrong the diary - They had been so helpful when we made our booking which made the cancellation worse

Such a quirky hotel! We had an amazing stay for 3 nights in the cabin in the woods, we absolutely loved the decor in the cabin. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners or the staff to accommodate us. We had two dogs with us and they were more than welcomed. We had dinner on 2 nights during our stay and the food was fantastic! We had beautiful weather when we arrived so the views were far reaching and beautiful, towards the end of our stay the weather changed but added to a different kind of beauty, so dramatic and windy which made us feel quite cosy watching the landscape from inside. Thank you Flodigarry we loved it.

We made a last minute booking and arrived at Flodigarry late last night after a last minute ferry cancellation. We were delighted with what we found! Although it was after 11pm, we were met with a very warm welcome from Leon and shown to our absolutely beautiful rooms and then delivered drinks to our door. The next morning, the views that greeted us completely outdid any expectations we had! The only way to describe them is a little piece of heaven on earth! Unfortunately we had to set off early, before breakfast hours, but that wasn’t t a problem for the staff and we were served a delicious breakfast with plenty of smiles. It was an all too quick visit for us, completely caused by ferry cancellations but it showed us an absolutely beautiful area of Skye that we have never seen before and we have no doubt at all that we will be back! Thank you so much, your hotel and welcome will not be forgotten!

Walking the skye trail from rubha hunish we passed by. Enticed by the beautiful building and views we thought we would stop in for a coffee. They hadnt actually reopened yet after lockdown but the owner took pity on us weary souls and came out and gave us coffee anyway. What a legend. Also gave us some top notch local knowledge on what to expect from the next stage of the trail. Really lovely location and super friendly, definitely worth a stop off for lunch if you are hiking past. Will be booking in next time I'm back in skye and not slumming it in a tent.
