Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The guest-house is easily located from the main street of Zuberec village, which is a great starting point for exploring the Orava region, whether you plan to go skiing, hiking or enjoy the hot springs. It is a typical village house with large well-equipped rooms and apartments, decorated with traditional Slovak artwork. Parking is free, as well as wifi, and there is even a playroom for kids and a pool table. Default breakfast options include bread and sweet pastry, tea, coffee, milk, honey, ham, cheese, vegetables and butter. You can ask for fresh scrambled eggs or hot dogs as well. Overall, this place provides great value for little money and we are definitely coming back.

I stayed at Pension Hubert for nights. The house is really nice, modern, well-decorated, spacious and well-furnished. Our hosts were really kind and smiling even though we couldn't communicate much since nobody could speak English or French - they do speak German and Polish though. Breakfasts and diners were decent. I missed having juice for breakfast though. The only problem we had was caused by drinks. We couldn't even get a glass of water and we were not even aware of that before diner. When food was served, I asked the waitress for water and she just replied "No". She did come back with two glasses of water but it made us feel very unconfortable because we had no idea if we had to pay for drinks or if we had been very rude. So, if you go there, make just you bring your own drinks for diners and breakasts. Had we been able to communicate, this embarassment would have been avoided of course. So at the end of the day, there is no big deal.
