We spent a night here at this beautiful Penzión, set in a stunning location. Perfect for a short or day long walk around the area with various difficulties to choose from. Staff are excellent, welcoming and couldn't do more for you. Room was light, fresh and airy as you'd like in heat of summer with ensuite and a very comfy bed. Food and drink is top notch too, so I'd recommend eating there. Ticks all the boxes, so five stars for me; highly recommended.

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and had a family celebration here. The rooms are small, but clean and offer all you need for a short time. The best of all is the offered food and hospitality! The best "gulash" ever. They offer home made food of very very high quality, very fresh and can serve any diet you need. You can really trust that you will get the dietary food as you need - being on the gluten free diet, I can prove what I say. Hospitality and will to serve you the best is very positive in this small hotel. Whatever you wish, they do their best to fulfil your wish. This is a good place for tourists to stay: many tourist attractions - Rozsutec, Vratna, Chleb, Terchova, Janosik.... Or you can only sit outside enjoy the great view, nice place and personnel. Children of all ages are welcome. Dogs also accepted. If you are looking for a place to eat well (local food) - try this one for sure.

Rooms are realy clean and comfortable. Window view is great - you can see the mountains. Owners are nice people. You can rest, eat and have a nice time there. Oh and the most important - this is animal friendly place.

While looking for an accommodation in Stefanova, we bumped into this very grumpy owner (or receptionist?) at pension Muran. Luckily they were full (Were they really? We were not so sure) so we did not stay there. After few sentences with the man we knew that this was not the place we wanted to stay.

Arrogant owner canceled our reservation without any explanation just 2 days before trip - probably to earn more money.. the reservation was made as free and confirmed by phone in advance.. If you choose the Muráň pension because of the location or the restaurant - it does not mean that you will be there

The place is awesome - next to the path to Janosikovy diery. Free parking, welcoming staff. Room small but cosy, nicely decorated bed. What I really liked was a basket with shoe and hair dryers in the corridor. They know very well what travellers need.

We wanted to go for a hiking trip into Terchova and we like smaller family-based stays, so we choose Penzion Muran to stay in. From the very beginning until the end everything was great! Breakfast were great, dinner we chose to eat on last night took a little longer(approx 40 minutes) but when you hear somebody in scratching potatoes for you just for your meal is awesome listening, besides this very friendly staff in whole place. Only recommendation is to enlarge the parking lot if possible. But otherwise I would rate them 9.9 of 10, 0.1 is deducted because of parking :)

We had traditional soup and halusky (4eur) and the home made beer. The food was delicious and beer was good. The owner/waitress was really nice. They also had free wifi. They do not accept credit cards, so be prepared to pay in cash. There is also beautiful view on the mountains. Nice place!

They did however arrange for us to stay in a neighbouring hotel, as it was late and we were tired after a long hike we went along with this. The alternative was basic, bed against the wall, restaurant closed by 8pm and no hot water. Terchova is great for hiking and I would recommend hotel diery, we had lunch there and would book there if we went back.

I really love the place. Friendly people, small but clean rooms, awesome food, great scenary, dog friendly, free wireless, Room 1 and 2 have a big balcony. Do not miss an evening in the bath tub and ask for cheese from Farmer Victor :-).
