Detailed Reviews
Hotel v nádhernom prostredí pod Bobotami, s výbornou reštauráciou - s výhľadom na Poludňový Grúň. Personál milý, ochotný. Počas pracovných dní menej hostí, a personál stíhal. Cez víkendy sa môže stať, že čakáte dlhšie, kým si vás všímnú. Welness so saunou a bazénom veľmi vhodný po celodennej lyžovačke.
Hotel in beautiful surroundings under "BOBOTY" Rocks, with the excellent restaurant -with the view of peak "Poludnovy Grun". Personal very kind and willing. During working days less guests, and services were on higher level. Wellness (sauna and swimming pool) were super after all-day skiing. Family room too small (4 person), but for sleeping enough. Of course the hotel has only *** :) Very convenient stays over 2 nights, you can use ski-ticket for 1 euro/per day in Vratna resort. Skibus available. Or you can use reserved parking place, if you drive your car. For hotel guests a discount applies in Ski rental on the Slope.

Super services, average rooms
+ restaurant (meals, perfect service)
+ desk service

- I'm not found a place where the Plan of animations is
- room service (lightly vacuumimg, 2 days were basket on room without touch)

All services are perfect and oriented for perfect well-being of clients, in hotel official parts. Rooms are appropriate for rest and sleep.

I visited these beautiful mountains on a trip from South Africa and enjoyed the family orientated atmosphere at the hotel. The service was amazing and the food out of this world. I will definitely be back again and will recommend this hotel to all my friends.

I stayed at the hotel Boboty two months ago with my mom and my little nephews. We had a lovely room with a breathtaking view facing the mountain range. Food was excellent, service something to be improved upon, but overall a good value for money. Recommended

+1
I stayed here with the family and the in-laws and what a nice hotel it is, set in beautiful surroundings............
The hotel caters for the whole family....it has a nice swimming pool and has table football, pool tables, table tennis etc.
Out the rear of the hotel they have an enclosure in the woods with wild boar in, the children loved going to see them, especially since they had just had babies. The fire flies at night just added to the whole outdoor ambience.
We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the food was really nice, offering traditional Slovakian meals.....the service was also superb.
The room we had was very spacious and the bed was quite comfortable......definitely no complaints.
What sells the hotel is its location........it is very secluded, surrounded by woodland and mountains. It is very tranquil and very relaxing. There are many walks and trails to be followed, many mountains to be climbed.
If you want peace and quiet or you are a keen hiker/rambler then this is definitely the hotel for you.

We stayed in hotel Boboty in May 2012.
Room - We booked a suite with separated bedroom for very reasonable price. It was so worth it. In this room, we had a feeling of a small appartment, even had two bathrooms. The only thing I was missing in the room was a water kettle to make tea. As it gets quite cold at night, one feels like having a warm drink. Otherwise the room was nice, clean, refurbished and the view from the balcony on the surrounding mountains was stunning. The bed was a bit hard for me, but that can be my own feeling.
Hotel staff - all hotel staff was extremely nice to us. They immediately tried to solve any issue we had, offered an additional heater as it was getting cold. This was not necessary, as the central heating was working at night, even if it was end of May, and we were nicely warm at night.
Food - we were happy with the restaurant, again with a beautiful view. The waiter, even though a quite person, was very nice, fast and polite. Food was good, just take the slovak specialities. They will open the restaurant and the staff will stay even if you are like the only guests in the hotel.
Environment - the surrounding area was great. We made some small walking trips, to see the "Diery" and up to Chleb with the cable car. All was fine, but be sure you have appropriate shoes and clothes. Hiking shoes are better even in the forest walk, as when wet, the tree roots are slippery. There was a girl on the top of Chleb mountain in 1646 m in her shorts and balerine shoes! Terchova village is nicely reconstructed, has basic food shops and a museum of Juraj Janosik, slovak national hero. Stefanova village was nice too. Ski facilities are about 4km from the hotel. I can imagine that this is a paradise in the winter for ski lovers.
Hotel facilities - basic gym - ok. We did not go to the swimming pool, even though this was offered by the receptionist. There are meeting rooms, billiard table.
Generally, we felt very comfortable in this hotel.

Disappointment, on arrival, to find the swimming pool closed. This would appear to have been a cost-saving, management decision.
My single room was very small, but with a fine bathroom and excellent value- at 20 euros per night.
The staff were most solicitous over my food requests and the chef (Miloš) himself made sure that my needs were excellently met. There was a fabulous spread for the evening buffets and breakfasts, with a marvellous view of the mountains from the restaurant.
My last night, with the hotel almost empty, Miloš made special efforts and prepared a memorable meal. A fantastically fragrant chicken, potato and juniper (?) soup, with a venison steak to follow. This came with an exquisite jus.
It was a shame that the heating was off during the night- more cost saving ? I twice enquired (using GoogleTranslate) if it would be switched on, to be told ‘yes’. This did not happen, despite a heavy, overnight frost.
The pool’s closure, together with this, spoiled what would have been a most fabourable impression.

In the hotel we spent 5 nights and it was our starting point for beautiful hikes in the Malá Fatra Mountains. That is the charming location of the hotel on a quiet sunny slope under the rocky massif of Boboty what its greatest asset is. After returning from the hike we always fully enjoyed the peace and quiet only disturbed by the sound of bells of grazing sheep, and from the balcony of our room, we still admired the panorama of the surrounding mountains. The hotel itself is rather older and some parts would need renovation, but still at a decent level and corresponds to the 3* classification. Rooms are spacious, equipped with new furniture, on the south side with a balcony. The bathrooms are also ok, with a bath, unfortunately there is no hairdryer. The restaurant offers plenty of table seats, but above all a splendid view over the glass wall. So breakfast with morning sunshine and mountain views is unforgettable. Breakfast was buffet style, nothing special but a good selection, sausages, bacon, eggs, ham, cheese, and yoghurt. Dinner was a choice of three meals, the food was good, but we expected much more regional dishes. There is also a swimming pool in the hotel, unfortunately we did not use it. Parking at the hotel is no problem, there is enough space. Despite my little remarks I can recommend the hotel for a multi-day stay.
