Liked · This is me rating in the name of my parents. Everything in the hotel was OK. Not special, not disappointing. Disliked · Mom complained about the need for the hotel to be renovated a bit. And it was a bit smelly inside.
We have visited this hotel during our winter break between Christmas and New Year. We have booked a family apartment, which was spacious and comfortable but it was clear that both the room and the hotel are visibly worn and in need of renovation. We were pleasantly surprised by quality of the "a la carte" dinner menu, prepared by the French chef who was very forthcoming and has personally delivered the dishes to the table. Unfortunately, we were unpleasantly surprised by many more things. Our impression upon departure was that the hotel management prefers "quick money" to seeing its guests return. Why? Because every single request that we had was turned down: We asked for lactose-free butter or margarine for breakfast because my wife and daughter do not tolerate milk. The answer was: No, we don't have that. We asked if we can have half-board, willing to pay the price increase. The answer was: No, that is not possible. We asked for chamomile tea for dinner (price: 2,80 eur ), which was served for free for breakfast. The answer was: No, breakfast teas cannot be offered for dinner. Because we booked 26-30 Dec, which the hotel initially confirmed and later changed to 27-31 Dec, we asked whether we could leave on the 30th, and keep the extra night for another stay in 2020. Knowing that it has our money in the pocket (we paid full amount in advance), again, the answer was No. We definitely will not return to this hotel. lovely hotel in quiet setting, staff were lovely & very helpful, didn't use the facilities, but room was clean & modern, restaurant was well set out & food was of a high quality and inexpensive. Breakfast was a choice of full English, continental or local, we went for full English and weren’t disappointed! Steady 20 min walk into city centre.
I didnt expect there is a place such this.. totally in the nature, near to this little town, very nice and very calm people, with trying to do everything perfect for the most importatnt -> their quests... tasty food, nice staff and all the details like place for your smartphone on the toiltes, made me feel like in the right place for take some rest and time for myself and family... I appreciate also the theme’s weekends (e.i. only for ladies 💄) and the special offers.. and the golf stuff everywhere is so great for me as golf player junior ⛳️ hope to see you soon..
I am so sorry to write this. But this was the worst experience ever. The hotel is realy nice, food is good as the soroundings. But it was the first time that managment of a hotel was yelling on us. Something you couldnt believe is actualy happening. We were group of friends with little kids, and every hour we felt, that we are not wellcome here. At the end they also told us, that we were the worst guest ever. We wanted many special things, like somebody came late for dinner or to heat some baby food, use conference room. We were treated like children in a camp. There was no willingness to make us feel welcome find a solution that we fel, but they explaind to us how wrong we were in everything. Sorry for some nice waiters, cleaning lady, they were realy realy nice to us. Please stay as you are, but work for somebody else, if its possible.…
Nice hotel with good services, swimming pool and a lot of possibilies for leisure time in history town and in near hilly surrounding. There are a lot of possibilities for skiing in winter and hiking, swimming in thermal pool or biking in summer.Nice personnel with good French chef cook.
Lovely place to stay if in Kremnica for skiing, hiking or any other activity. The staff especially is very welcoming and willing to assist with any question or problem. Quiet location, lovely environment.
We spent 2 nights in Hotel Golfer. The cuisine and service was excellent. The dinner desert was wonderfull and red wine - Kremnitzer Ringburger was amazing. Staff was very friendly and polite. I recommend this hotel for stay in Kremnica. The town is historical and the surrounding - Skalka, Krahule is good place for hiking and biking. Tomas, Bratislava
During our trip to Europe we ventured out to the city of Kremnica to explore the beauty of this region. We booked a stay at this hotel. The service was excellent - the staff went the extra mile to ensure we were looked after well. The rooms were clean and spacious. The showers were cheaply made and the plumbing needed a bit of work but that was a minor detail. The restaurant - run by a French veteran complemented the experience. The food was good but the place was very empty. We saw this trend in other cities outside of Bratislava. The service was very good - the girl originally from Ukraine told us her story of coming to Slovakia. Great person and we were thankful for her service during our dinners. There is a large outdoor swimming pool right outside of the hotel. The hotel itself has a decent size indoor swimming pool which we used extensively during our stay.…
