Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stayed here for one night with a colleague on business. First of all this hotel was very difficult to find even with the sat nav, however first impressions were that this complex far stands out from all else in the area with a grand gated entrance and superb driveway. The hotel staff certainly take a lot of care with the exterior of the property. Check - in was quick and easy and my room on the third floor was to a very good standard with a nice bathroom. As the rooms were in the 'roof' area of the hotel there were big opening skylights which I loved, and also I loved the smell of the treated wood beams in the corridor. We had drinks in the main courtyard which was huge and very impressive, we ate dinner in the restaurant which was absolutely excellent. This is a very large

We spent one night there and have to say it was one of the more bizarre - but in a good way - experiences we have had. It starts when you drive up to the hotel - not the easiest to find - and have to lug your cases out to reception then drive off and park your own car. We eventually checked in and went to our "attic room" It was huge - but empty. You could have put another double bed in there - but it just had one bed and one chair and a small desk. There was a definite need for more furniture - the same applying to the huge bathroom which was equally empty! But despite this the hotel is packed full of character and we were very kindly shown the on site chapel and special hunting room late one night. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel corridors are also full of art and

Very happy about saving and renovating this building! It is impressive! However, there are still many areas for improvement. It can be difficult to make a big space like this warm and cosy. Unfortunately, the design of the room we stayed in was sort of "mish mash". Although, the room and bathroom are spacious, it is lacking cosiness. As well the noise from the road under the hotel was disturbing. Breakfast improved on our second morning, good selection. All staff very pleasant. Looking forward to come in 10 years time and see this place glowing. Good luck!

This is a very nice hotel. Pretty and special interior. Was renovated with huge efforts and high cost. Why then only 4 stars? There are not many guests in the hotel and therefore we couldn't get something to drink after 11pm.

The hotel, which has been opened earlier this year, is situated in a renovated manor and surrounded by a very nice park. Both the manor and the park are lovely. A good setting e.g. for a wedding. The room we were in (De luxe suite) was spacious and nicely decorated. In the night, the place was quiet. The bed was soft but we slept well. There was a kitchen with a coffe machine. The food for dinner was fine, albeit we received cold pasta once. The breakfast was adequate, similar to other hotels of this type we go to. Wellness is small, with one jacuzzi, two saunas. No pool. Open 18-22. There is a possibility of massages. We tried massages, which were unfortunately sub-standard. All staff was friendly and willing to help. It is possible to borrow bikes at the hotel. There
