Very friendly and welcoming staff. Very clean, well maintained and nicely decorated hotel lobby and rooms, with Good lift. Good size nicely decorated spotless room, fantastic big comfortable bed, good sized and modern bathroom with great shower. Very good aircon and good Wi-Fi. Fantastic terrace with plenty tables and chairs with great views all around including the Mezquita bell tower. The honesty bar on the terrace is a great idea. A very good selection of all kinds of drinks available. No dining area but lots of bars and restaurants all around the hotel. We had breakfast every morning at Cafe Viena just around the corner which was really good. The Mezquita is 5 minute walk and Alcazar a further 2 minutes away, so great location for all the sights in Cordoba. We will definitely try to stay at this hotel if/when we return to Cordoba.

Beautiful and stylish. Spacious room, spacious bathroom. One of a very few cases where historic does not mean old and dirty. This was clean and nicelty decorated. Friendly and useful staff, we were offered a breakfast even at 10 am. Close to the Main street with lots of Cafes and restaurants. I will return anytime!

The hotel is lovely - located in an historic building that has been renovated. The rooms are large and comfortable. The beds are great and the wifi works well. The small coffee bar / bar downstairs has a nice atmosphere. As others have noted, the breakfast is adequate but not great with a tendency toward cold eggs and bad coffee (although the restaurant can make a decent espresso if asked). The location near so many other cafes and restaurants makes this drawback completely manageable. I would happily stay here again.

It is really a good hotel for a few nights stay in Presov. In the historical centre, rooms are very spacious and clean, wifi works. Maybe the style of the rooms is a bit kitschy.
There is a rum and cigar bar underneeth the hotel. Interesting place...
Just across the inner yard is a quite good restaurant, which belongs to the hotel. Upstairs it looks better than downstairs. Don't be shy - walk up. Downstairs it is a menu restaurant during the day, that's why it looks not soo attractive.
Breakfast is really not the most fantastic and you can't make your own tee/coffee.

Carpe Diem is where we always stay when visiting Presov. Both business travelers and tourists alike seem to really like Carpe Diem. We met the manager Andrea and she seems to really care about the proficiency and cleanliness of this hotel. They have a great garden restaurant and the rooms are very nicely decorated in a rather romantic way. The location is right downtown on the main street right across from the church. The staff are always very friendly, especially Pavel at the front desk. The have an elevator and go out of the way to help you with your requests and needs. We highly recommend Carpe Diem when in Presov, Slovakia.

The hotel is small but well run. My wife and I stayed three nights and the front desk staff was friendly, quite helpful and was adequate in speaking English. The room we had was a bit smallish but that is no untypical in older European hotels. Bed was comfortable and the room had a small fridge, balcony and good shower. The only down side to our stay was the unusually high heat in Presov (June) and the lack of air-conditioning. The hotel has a nice restaurant attached with a pretty courtyard and the food was quite good.

I ´ve stayed in this hotel during due to business trip through easter Slovakia.
Its located in absolute city center of Prešov on the main square. As the main entrance is from pedestrian zone, if you´re traveling by car you have to find a hotel parking space from other side, but with navigation (waze), its wasn´t a problem. After you´ve parked you car ist quite hard to find the entrance from this side because there was no signage on the parking. Entrance is on teh left side next to the cigar shop :)
Staff was kind and helpfull. Rooms are very clean and big enough (I was in 405 with great view ofer the rooftops on the church tower).
Thera was small bar and small TV, kingsize bed and a lot of storage in cabinets.
Hotel offers free internet.
Breakfast is held in restaurant on the elevation floor, but if you want to have lunch or dinner and add it to your room number, its not possible, so don ´t forget to take money with you.
I can recommend it for couples or business travelers

Wonderfully spacious, immaculate bed rooms and bathrooms. Downstairs bar is warm, comfortable, relaxing and full of character (cellar curved ceiling, dark furniture, soft lighting) However, those expecting the additional facilities typical of a 4 star rating are going to be disappointed. No tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, which is a problem on a Sunday when the downstairs bar where you can get a coffee is not open until 1600. There is of course the aligned restaurant who deliver the breakfast - sadly the worst I have "enjoyed" for years (not enough, not good, and no real variety) but you can secure a coffee there too and opening hours are extensive. The two evening meals I had at the restaurant (more a local good and wholesome food restaurant than an upscale fine dining establishment) were truly superb and great value. Location wise this is super, just along from the glorious architecture of the city centre, and equally within 1, 2 or 5 minutes walk of local sites, restaurants and coffee houses and bars. Without doubt, a super hotel, with criticism only to emphasise the comparatively minor concerns and not in any way to dissuade you. Very very nice but not luxury.
