Stayed here just for 1 nigth. The pension is situated in the city center. This room the biggest from all 3 I saw. It was clean, there was a bottle of water prepared. The bathroom was also big snd clean. It has a hairdryer and shampoo. I think that there should be a bigger towel, cause there where only small ones. Breakfast was good, you can choose from a breakfast menu. The reception with restaurant was in the different building so you had to walk on the oustside but its really close, so it wasnt that bad. If you want to park a car, you can find a place outside, or they will let you to stay inside.
We had the pleasure of staying at this fabulous little family run hotel in the beautiful old quarter of Presov. The room was huge with a large bed, a couch, tv and wardrobe. They give you a bowl of sweets, biscuits on the pillow and great toiletries, even slippers. The room and bathroom were very clean and warm and so quiet at night. It was close to great restaurants and cafes too. We had parking for the car and they even offered to do our laundry as there are no laundromats in Presov. I would highly recommend this value for money accommodation.
We spent here only one night after friend's birthday party which took place in this pension. Place is quite hidden when you are coming from main square, but you can access it by the car using rear entrance. Staff was very helpful. Room was clean and very cosy, even with the view to another building. TV has only couple of slovak programs, but they provide good WIFI connection. You can order a breakfast, but for price of 5 Euro were quite small. Overall, this is very good option if you would like to visit Presov and stay in city center.
Ok accomodation in the city centre, restaurants, bars etc located a few streets from the hotel. Rooms are basic but OK, we did stay only overnight but for such type of stays the pension is OK. During this weekend the pension was almost empty, only one other room was occupied, but it seems like a quiet place to stay.
On our arrival we was greeted by the owner, she didnt speak any english. She asked for us to cancel our booking with booking.com and then pay cash direct to the hotel. We did not do this but on checking my emails she had already done so. The room was very small, basic and dark. We stayed for 6 nights and the maid only emptied the bins once and changed our small towels the once. We booked this hotel has it stated there was free parking but this was not the case. We had to find a parking space on the road at a daily cost.
If you're looking for something basic and affordable with a great location in the center of Presov, this is it. It's not fancy, it's not full service, nor fancy -- no English TV, very good wifi functioning most of the time, and I think there would be more frequent maid service if you asked. Like another reviewer below, I would've liked a desk, but it wasn't a big deal. The restaurant was closed, and I did not take breakfast at the hotel. English is not spoken there, but staff can speak other languages, and it's also apparently cheaper if you call to make a reservation directly instead of using booking dot com. Overall, for the price and location, this is one of the best values in Presov.
We stayed in Antonio for 4 nights. The maid has never made our room; the bed was never made, waste bins in the bathrooom and our room were not emptied, we did not get clean towels except one day when we told the owner that we are completely out of toilet paper, and we needed clean towels. There were 4 towels but they were all very small ( the size of the hand towels one would use in the kitchen). The information provided by the owner was false. We contacted him via email, and he provided us with the cost / room and cost of the breakfast per person. He has also said that we can use VISA to pay for our stay. When we were ready to pay, the waitress told us we have to pay cash because the credit card terminal had not been working for a long time. In addition, she started adding the cost of the food we had for breakfasts. When asked why the cost of of the breakfast is higher than what the owner quoted, she said that we had each morning an orange juice and that must be pay extra. We told her that they were providing false information. The breakfast service by the same waitress was reluctant, grudging, and very poor quality. One morning when we got our breakfast, the bacon was burned to charcoal and yet served. At the end when we were ready to pay, she even had the audacity to ask: 'Did you like it"?…
My wife and I stayed in Pension Antonio for a couple of nights this month. It is just off the main high street in Presov. We stayed in room no. 3. It was very large, bright and clean. Bedroom contained a large bed plus couch and armchair. Satellite tv - but could find no english channels. The en-suite shower/toilet was a good size and clean. Provided towels were a little on the small size. We were greeted by Antonio himself - a very welcoming man though he spoke no english. The pension has an attached restaurant which unfortunately we never got chance to try so can't comment, though it looks very nice. We were very happy with this choice of accomodation. The only slight drawback would be the parking arrangements. The pension has secure, off road parking. However, parking is one car behind another so if you are first in and want to get out again you have to hope no-one parks behind you. All in all though a great little find.…
