Detailed Reviews
This guesthouse, located in Trondheimsleia, approx. 30 km. (18 miles) northwest of Kyrksaeterora, is a perfect place to stay and from here, go hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, fishing, cycling, snorkeling and then enjoy the restaurant, cafe and bar. The accommodations are modest but clean, and perfect if you plan to stay outdoors most of the time.

Had a absolutely fantastic time staying at Mageroya Gjestgiveri with my family( my wife and two girls 5 and 6 years) for 5 nights.
We were hiking, fishing from a boat we hired( at a very good price), swimming and fishing crabs from the peer.
The people running Magaroya Gjestgiveri when we were there, Henrik, Filipe, Martin and Harald made our stay most pleasant. They were very helpful and forthcoming with any ideas and wishes we had.
Will highly recommend a stay at Mageroya Gjestgiveri to anyone who likes nature and relaxing.

Magerøya is destroyed.
Today's drivers have taken up too much space and it seems like the island is in their possession.
It seemed messy and dirty. Inside, too.
Heard talk back about guests in the background outdoors.
Shame for someone who grew up in the area and used Magerøya during the summer.
Sad sight.

I think Magerøya has changed a lot in 10 years. Sad sight.
Dry hamburgers, messy space, getting used coffee cups at serving and unhappy people running.
Heard that the waiters were talking and wanted the customers to scan with QR code so that the customers would not get in.
160 kr for 2 cups of coffee and 2 ice cream.
