What a great place to spend a few days. Beautiful location, about 1.5hrs from Roveniemi. Accommodation is excellent, semi-detached properties, kitchen, lounge, bedroom bathroom with own sauna downstairs, further bedroom and bathroom upstairs, plus 2 more beds suitable for kids. They provide for free proper outwear, incl. boots, complete body suit, gloves, socks, headgear, brilliant. Take layers i.e. thermal undies, tops, jumpers, thinner but winter jackets, hats, gloves, etc and and then put this lot over the top, you will need it in winter. Not a cheap place to visit, but good value for money, recommend the Husky Sledge trip and the unbelievable Wolfdog Snowmobile trip, you will only regret NOT having done these during time here.

Brilliantly appointed holiday villas - like a hotel complex, with private villas (see photos), each with a private sauna. Main reception serves all the activities and there is a restaurant on side for half board basis (buffet for each) and also as a paid for restaurant and cafe on side for during the day. Our villa was very spacious (slept 6 but was just two of us), two bathrooms, sauna, lounge (with tv), with kitchen and dining table. Good facility to make own food and all the basic things you’d expect in a kitchen. The hotel take you to a supermarket on transfer from airport to stock up on any food, alcohol or milk for teas/coffees. There is no bar as such on site but you can buy alcohol with your meals. The holiday village also provide all your outerwear for the stay -

Just returned from a 3 night stay here with my husband, our last night was spent at Arctic Fox Igloos. We had the most amazing time, our first snowy holiday but after this wonderful experience it won’t be our last. The lodge was a very good size, 6 single beds, 2 shower rooms, equipped kitchen, good size sauna, wood burner and fantastic clothes drying cupboard. On arrival we were given snow suits, boots and mittens. Balaclavas and helmets were also provided for snowmobiling. I would recommend taking a good coat and scarf for arrival/departure. A pair of thermal gloves for under the mittens. Snoods were invaluable during the husky sledding and snowmobiling so would take one of those. And then just thermal base layers - leggings, tops, hoodies, socks etc. We had a 15 minute stop

Stayed here for two nights in February after a night in Arctic Fox glass igloos and couldn't believe the quality of the accommodation. When we booked, it was classed as superior apartments but when we arrived it turned out to be more of a semi detached house. Everything you could want or need is here, fully equipped kitchen/diner, living area, drying unit (definitely appreciated for drying of wet clothing quickly), sleeping for up to eight, shower and sauna (for four). When we arrived at the site, we were provided with winter clothing (insulated one piece outfit, socks, mittens and snow boots and no addition charge) to keep warm when out and about. The site includes a wildlife park/zoo which we had free access to at any time when open. Also booked a trip to a Reindeer farm,
