Great family hotel where you are very well received. A magnificent landscape with top activities, Marion and Nikko on point, the food is good, it's delicious. A stay full of surprises between activities and relaxation in the sauna. A small downside, the optional activities are quite expensive. Fortunately we have snowshoes and skis available, as well as the village where, contrary to what is announced in the guides, the use of the CB is entirely possible. A top stay where at the end of the season it is less cold, I recommend.

We stayed at the hotel as a family and I highly recommend this hotel! We were on the hotel side with a simple but very functional room and above all very well insulated! On the food side, nothing to say, discovery of the guaranteed premises! Many thanks to Marion for her presence, support and above all her assumed passion for this magnificent country and the people who populate it! Thanks also to Niko for his daily presence and his kindness! For the activities we had booked an included activities stay which were very nice and added extra activities during the free time of the week! I recommend ++ the sled dog ride and the visit to the reindeer farm with a breeder and not something for tourists! On the other hand, if you don't have children, you should clearly forget Santa's village, there is no magic there apart from the magic of business...
Kiitos to the whole team

We spent an unforgettable week, from December 30 to January 6, the coldest week (below -30°C to -36°C) but not at all cold because we were well equipped. We were lucky enough to have a small chalet, so good, thank you again!!!.
Magnificent nature, far from the crowds, good meals, a super nice group, everyone talked to each other, this made the meals and excursions even more fun while keeping the impression of being alone in the world on a walk, so much so. there is space. The village is very welcoming, as are the hotel staff, plus equipment is available free of charge to occupy your free time. All the excursions were great. Marion, our awesome guide! Northern lights 4 nights in a row, a dream! In short, everything was perfect!

the accommodation does not correspond to the photos. We considered it a good opportunity because of the good price of the rooms to have a holiday there in February. The disappointment was big when we arrived. It is in the middle of the forest. Far from Rovaniemi 3 hours by car. No trace of civilization. Not suitable for guys. They don't provide free wood for the fireplace. Drinks in the restaurant expensive and poorly made. in the hall without a jacket you cannot sit and eat it is very cold due to lack of heating. they only work with groups. A family would not go there for vacation. VERY BAD. We had booked a week and left in 3 days. I do not recommend it.

A hotel on a human scale that allows you to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Nature lovers this is the ideal destination.
From the Sauna to the snowmobile to the sled dog experience, everything is perfectly orchestrated to allow you to spend an unforgettable week.
We enjoyed every moment and the week passed too quickly.
A big thank you to Marion for her welcome, the warmth she communicates about her life in Lapland.
Go there with your eyes closed if you love life in the great outdoors.
3 types of accommodation are offered: rooms in the hotel, chalets for 4 people right next door and rooms in an annex Lodge building located 10 minutes' walk away.
Buffet meals are OK.
Don't hesitate to try the traditional wood-fired sauna and then jump into the ice water.
In short, an unforgettable week!

We come back from Samperin Savotta with so many memories in our heads!! Everything is so magnificent, magical. Thank you to all the hotel staff who are very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Marion who is an exceptional guide, as well as Maxence and Antonin the interns, and Niko at the top! The stay and activities are very well run. It's a group trip but without being on top of each other. Far from mass tourism, nature is simply magical.
We stayed in a chalet next to the hotel, very spacious for 4 adults and private sauna. Very clean and functional. The food is varied and homemade, the soups are delicious!!
Board games are available, a bar and small souvenirs. Everything is payable in credit card (note no cash withdrawal in Savukoski). Loan of snowshoes and cross-country skis, thank you!
I would definitely come back to Samperin one day!! Kiitos

We were wrong to choose this place for our vacation. Isolated, deserted, and staff not in the mood to serve. We were lured by the supposedly good reviews we read. The reality is different. Waste of money. The food was the worst we tried. We felt like we were locked in a cage. I do not recommend. .be careful what you read. These are fabricated reviews.

Superb trip. Everything is well organized. We just have to let ourselves be carried away. Marion is adorable, calming and available. Niko is also present. Beautiful surprises await you. Stay which allowed us to really break away and see how the Finns live.

It was organised trip to Lapland and I was waited to see ordinary hostel or hotel, where touristic groups stayed usually. But I was pleasantly surprised. Location is fantastic. It's a real Finnish village, very small (from my point of view), authentic and truly comfortable. You will not see numerous cars, shops, cafes. Only forest, which is in the midst of snow-covered road, a few houses, shop and cafe. According to local people's words, the number of deers is rather bigger than people in this area.
The owner of the hotel is so friendly. He will advice different entertainment from skiing (you will find everything you need in his hotel) to riding a reindeer/Huskies etc. He invested all his soul in this hotel and all applied to it.
Rooms are small but comfortable. Our room consisted of 2 beds in the first floor and 1 big bed on the 2 floor, TV, bathroom.
Unfortunately, Wi-Fi was only at hall. That's why be ready to use it there till 9 p.m. (the hall is closed after that hour).
And some words about kitchen. To my mind, it was incredibly delicious, especially croissants and baking.
My mark - 5 from 5 ;)

I have had the please to stay twice at this place. Strangely enough, you feel so immediately at home that it quickly becomes difficult to call it a hotel. Mikko and Niko are two amazing persons that will do their utmost to make your stay in Lapland a real bliss and share the love of their country. The rest of the staff is just as welcoming and helpful. I simply can't wait for my third visit.

bonjour
