We had a lovely stay at this B&B. It's an old 19th century wooden house with a lot of charm and character. It is spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. The owners are very helpful, thoughtful and welcoming. It is also very good value for money.
It is located about 2 miles from the centre of Kitee and we had a nice stroll into town in the evening to eat at a place recommended by the owners of the B&B. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the bathroom is not en suite and we had to walk through the kitchen/dining room to get to the bathroom that was shared between three bedrooms. I think this was reflected in the price, but if privacy is an issue for you, you might ask for one of the other rooms that is closer to the other bathroom which doesn't involve walking past people having their breakfast in your nightclothes to go to the loo! We had a small twin room with interconnecting doors to another twin room where our children slept.
I would recommend staying here, albeit with the above proviso.

The place is extraordinary beautiful and clean. I can fully recommend this place to anybody who seek personal BB and seek the authentic old wood log house. Family who keep the place are very nice and friendly. I fully can recommend the place.
Olimme BB paikkaa vailla moottoripyöräretkellä. Paikka oli todella siisti ja kaunis vanha hirsitalo joka on pidetty erittäin hyvin. Huoneet, olohuoneet aamiainen – kaikki olivat todella hyvin hoidettu. Paikka pitävä perhe miellyttävä. Voin todella suositella tätä paikkaa.

Manor (build in 1890s) is tinkered with good eye and honoured manor old age. There are lots of activities: pool table, ps3, board games ect. Sauna (build in 1960s) is really nice and have glassed porch next to it. We will definitely visit here again when we are travelling in eastern Finland.

Mukava majapaikka, hyvä tunnelma ja ystävällinen palvelu. Kollegan kanssa työmatkalla päädyimme Savikon Kartanon majoitukseen ja kohtasimme positiivisen yllätyksen Suomen majoitusliikkeiden joukossa. Pitää pitää paikka mielessä myös lomareissuja ajatellen. Suosittelen.
