Okkola is different from any other holiday resorts I have ever been. The cottages are designed for the location they are built and there are spread in a huge area on an island. You have absolute privacy and comfort. Paula, the owner, takes care of every customer and single detail.

Buffet menu on sunday. Worth it? Sure! Each course in the buffet had something special. Amazing salmon soup, incredible fresh smoked salmon, fish balls from another galaxy, salads, bread, etc. A local food experience. I don't know what the regular restaurant offers but cannot be bad! Amenities for children outside too. 25€ adults and half the price for children I think is what also attracts many local followers. A ferry on the way, make sure it's available on the way back

Hessula oli hieno mökki hienolla paikalla. Tyynyt voisi uusia, muuten kaikki oli erinomaista. Sauna lämpeni nopeasti ja takka toimi hyvin A lovely cottage at great location. The view is absolutely perfect. We will return.

Stayed here 4 nights - Great cottage next to a lake, very peaceful location. We were only a group of 4 but there is plenty of space would say 6-7 people. There are 2 saunas, one more traditional next to lake and one in the main house. Rowing boat included. Nice fireplace in front of the house with lake views - plenty of firewood available. Also canoe rental place just 1km away. Would definitely stay here again.
