Came here as a party of 9 with 5 rooms. The rooms were lovely, really nicely decorated. The staff were warm and friendly, and the breakfast was epic! Apologies to anyone hearing us coming in late and loud from our night of celebrations though! Not sure why this place has any bad reviews at all..

On the outskirts of Bristol, 5 mins from the motorway and next to a good bus route, this is an ideal location if you need to nip into town or if you need an overnight stop. A former coach house, the owners have gone to great lengths to refurbish the building to a high standard. Rooms are a decent size... More

We found the coach House by chance and what a find. We stayed in room 3 a family room. It was myself and mom, we were upset and very tired due to family illness. Nothing was to much trouble, the room relaxing and the bathroom fab. The only thing needed in Bathroom was non slip mat for in the shower.... More

We stayed here for one night after going to Bath Uni open day. We arrived late on Sat night and left early Sunday morning so can only comment on the 12hrs we were there. The room was clean and my daughters loved having a 'proper' bed each, they usually have to share a bed or have a pull out in a... More

On first impression I was disappointed, unfortunately this did not change throughout the stay. The room was in an annex at the side of the main house, bed was rock hard (enough to feel springs) the smell of damp was so strong it kept me awake (combined with the uncomfortable bed) my advise would be to book yourself into the... Staff were very friendly and room was nice. Main complaint is the shower. Was either boiling hot or ice cold or not working at all from moment to moment. I stood in the shower covered in soap for at least a full minute before the water came back on, burned me, went cold, and then went back to the temperature... More

We found the place with no problems thanks to the good travel instructions from the website. Not the warmest of welcomes when we arrived after a very long journey. The room, in the main house, was well laid out, furnished and decorated. The breakfast was ok, but having to make your own toast and tea wasn't what I expected. We... More

Lovely place aprox 10 mins drive from City. Easy to check in once you have found the rural location. Excellent service, rooms and breakfast. This is an old building and there might be access problems for the less able

i stayed in the annex so maybe the main building next door is a very different standard, but the room was small and thin walled, with a rather dingy bathroom. Access was through an unkempt courtyard. The breakfast was very ordinary, and generally the place had a run down feel about it. think it could be a very nice place... More

I would stay again if I was in the Annex again, after trying 2 rooms we managed to find one.. the last room available which didn't have a damp smell. Bed wasn't comfortable and you could feel the springs through the mattress. It wasn't very clean, tried getting money back when we arrived as I wasn't happy with the room... More
