We have just left after staying for the weekend on one of our regular visits to Bristol. (Our first visit to this hotel). The staff here that we encountered were all very welcoming, polite and eager to help which for us is a big part of the enjoyment of any stay in a hotel. We

Easy parking, easy location for M4/Filton/Abbey Wood but hotel rooms felt a bit rough around the edges and beds in particular were very soft and bouncy (needed replacing). Communal areas nice, good leisure facilities. Staff friendly and helpful - EXCEPT reception is often hard

Not clean, very old looking. I’ve been here just for a couple of nights but I won’t return for sure, for the same price I could book better hotels for sure. The only positive point is the spacious car park.

Hi AndreaWanderer, Thank you for leaving us your review and for making us a part your visit here in Bristol. We are grateful that you've chosen the Holiday Inn to host you. Seeing our guests come to stay with us again is proof that we've helped our guests satisfy the reason for the trip but I'm sorry to leave you feeling otherwise. I understand that ours looked dated compared to what you're used to, AndreaWanderer. I also read that the lapses in the room upkeep made you uneasy. I regard your thoughts that you felt not getting the most of what you paid for. Despite the negatives, I'm happy that you had no issues finding a spot in our spacious car parking. Don't worry, I took the necessary steps to ensure our management gets to read your post and be discussed amongst all concerned staff. We are always on the lookout for ways to make your experience memorable. Reviews such as this goes a long way in identifying areas where we can improve. We may not have gotten off the right foot but I'm positive to make it better for your next stay. Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay with us. Best regards, Frank A.
